As a Brit, I wish there was a way for me to legally support the company, alas, there is not. If they had a Kickstarter, I would definitely contribute £50. I f***ing love LU and feel so bad that I can't help keep it going. They need to sell merchandise to capitalize on their fanbase's love and help finance seasons. The main problem is that Lucha Underground is treated like a tv show instead of a pro wrestling company. Which is still mind boogling about the lack of merch considering a vast number of shows sell things from t-shirts to action figures to shot glasses.

Interesting very small brief exchange between Eric Vanwagenen and Chris Dejoseph the head of creative and producer of LU respectively. twitter.com/chrisdejoseph/status/638249009665015808So looks like news may finally be on the way hopefully that news is good news...the second season kind.

Pretty sure they were gonna return regardless and this is simply them keeping up production costs , anyways this is the best bit of news outside of word from the likes of chris dejoseph etc.

I'm going to wait until an official press release announcing season 2 of Lucha Underground before breaking out the happy dance. They still got the show's surprisingly high expenses that is scaring away potential suitors.

Masked Republic and Pro Wrestling Tees got much better stuff for the same price. I'm not expecting greatness but something that as cool as the show. Plus I guarantee I'm not the only person who didn't know about this shop's existence.

It has been admitted that they know they left money on the table with the merchandise and is something they are in the middle of putting together according to eric vanwaggenen on Austins podcast.

Yeah, part of me is glad they don't shill it on the show like WWE does. A bumper before commericals wouldn't hurt occasionaly. The designs are pretty basic, but hey, its the their first year as a promotion with only one "ppv-type" show with Ultima Lucha, so hopefully they'll have more in the future. Plus they don't seem to license most of the characters/gimmicks so most of their top stars sell their own merch. Which actually is more reasonable and fair since they're all "independent contractors." Unless they're using VERY ethically made shirts, they could stand to knock a few bucks off the price though.

Still though, they own half of the gimmicks like Prince Puma and King Cuerno. Why not make masks? I would definitely buy a Prince Puma mask.

Hell, I'd probably invest in all of the original luchadors, if I had a choice.

I'd be down for a shirt of Cueto yelling "RING THE BELL!" or something like that. That dude is rife for merch. FYI, they're having a 15% off sale on their webstore, promo code TEMPLE.

They do that well don't they and by that I mean taking what either WWE wastes , misuses and just plain screws up comes here and bring out the glory in them.

I've done some looking around and ratings wise, LU reached over the 100K mark a couple of times during the first season.

Finally got around to watching the second hour of Ultima Lucha. The best send off to a show's season I've seen.
I just hope the temple isn't relocated all the way to Texas as someone suggested(socal is a shorter drive for me if they have more shows).

I just hope the temple isn't relocated all the way to Texas as someone suggested(socal is a shorter drive for me if they have more shows). It all depends if they can find a reasonable priced building and a production company in Texas or SoCal. They would love to stay in the same location but the price is too high for the building. They caught a break with the local production crew willing to for less than scale as long as they could go home every night. A Texas move might find them a cheaper building and cheaper travel costs for the luchadors but they going to have to pay for the current production crew to travel outside of Cali.
