If I ran TNA, I'd get hired on Friday, fired on Saturday, buried on Sunday, then go back to work on a Monday

I would have sat down with Dixie Carter, and used graphs, spreadsheets and diagrams to explain what WCW was and why it collapsed. You could save more time and money if you showed her WCW Nitro on The a Network.

To elaborate on my previous suggestion: I sit down and say to myself, okay, we have a good thing going with the Impact Zone. A low rent, fixed location keeps our production costs down. The downside is that we can't make as much revenue as possible, since we can't charge for ticket sales. We need to film on location to maximize revenue. But we are still a small company with limited resources. How do I fix this? I'll film our PPV's on location so we can make money on buyrates AND ticket sales! But wait, filming a PPV is not cheap, how can I make money off them without losing money on production? I'll reduce the number of PPV's! Instead of doing one a month, we will do four a year. This gives us a chance to build up each PPV as much as possible so that we will get the maximum number of buyrates and ticket sales! While I'm at it, I'll also promote the heck out of our merchandise and house shows to try to increase revenue, and I'll start looking for all the cross-promotion I can to get us in the mainstream and increase our audience.
K, now that we've got a bit more revenue coming in, we need to start expanding. But we're still not ready to go on the road full time, and I don't want to risk losing our deal for the Impact Zone by upsetting Universal. How can I expand without going too far too fast? I'll add more PPV's every year! The KO division is on fire, how about a special, once a year PPV dedicated entirely to them? I'll even see if I can get Shimmer involved and make it a joint effort so our production costs will be just a little lower! And I'll start doing special episodes of Impact were we film outside the Impact Zone. How about a tenth anniversary special episode where we film from our old location at the Memphis Fair Grounds? Or maybe I'll see if Universal will lend us a studio in California so we can get an idea of how much it will cost to go cross country-and while we are there, we can run some house shows in an area where there is no indy competition and WWE rarely ever goes. And, as always, I gotta keep on promoting, promoting, promoting so we are out there growing our audience and keeping people tuning in!
K, its all working out well. Our ratings are staying consistent, our revenue has increased. Time to start looking at wooing some big name advertisers who can put some real money into our production. Oh look, our contract with Spike is coming up for renewal! I think I'll just shop around to see if any other networks are interested, and if they are willing to offer up a good enough deal, it may be time to make that leap of faith and start filming on tour. Wish us luck guys!

Wish us luck guys! From a business stand point this his how I ran it from day one or at less from the point they got too the impact zone in 04. Heres what I will add to this because this is the layout but some others I want too touch on. Booking of PPVS: While TV ratings are important there are other ways to draw ratings and not kill the PPVs. You have to remember that fans already pay there cable or Satellite company to get the network we are on and have the ability to order a PPV. So when we run a PPV we are asking fans too spend more money too see it. So we must not book PPVs as a second rate event. The big moments, the big stories need too happen on the PPVs. We are going to give first time ever bouts between two starts that fans call a dream match on PPV and make it a big built bout. When we crown a champion. There isn't going to be a bunch of title goes back too the loser the next event. Monday Night war 2.0 is a no no: I will never even try this. Sure the fans may love the idea of going back to those days but you have to remember someone will end up losing. I'm running my company too be making money. I don't care how good my product will be, I still thing is a risk that is unnecessary. The wrestling business is better off with two mainstream companies. The touring schedule: When it comes time too go on the road. I say PPVs first and once we know we draw enough too cover cost and make something from it at the end. Then we add in TV taping. However were this company goes should be based around wrestling hot beds. So we start with NY, Chicago, Philly, Detroit, St. Louis, Memphis, the Carolina's, Texas, and ext. The big towns where we know we are going too get a hot crowd. The smaller towns and areas can be adding by polls too see how much interest is there first. The higher ranked get adding in. I feel the PPVs will draw regardless if it is monthly, bi monthly, or four a year it comes down too booking. Booking the shows: Less sports entertainment more wrestling should be the mindset. The fans are looking for the alternative not more of the same stuff. So we want too mainly show that we are different then the WWE. This is after all a wrestling show and fans are watching for the wrestling. So you have too be less talk more wrestling. Plus make it simple on how the angles, feuds, and storylines if you will are booked. That why Russo will never be in my booking team. We don't need all these different no reason heel or face turn in the same storyline and alll these other twist that end up making what could be a good angle into crap and confusing the fan watching. I want my fans too not be insulted when they watch and have a good idea of what is going on. Booking staff: My team will be guys who know wrestling. Russo would never been given the book if I ran it from the start. Over the years there been some great minds that at one time or another was available. I think it will end up being the team of Heyman, D'Amore,Bauer. Talent: I would limit how many former ECW, WCW, and WWE talent comes into the roster. Some of them have a place but others not so much. The main focus is going younger and creating new stars. Fans are looking for something fresh. Having a lot of ex stars from the other companies named isn't going too make it happen. A couple is fine too help put over the younger group. The only names I felt had there place was Christian, Team 3D(For tag teams) Angle, Hardy, and Sting(Up until 09). These guys have great matches and made the ones they face look good. It all about getting the next group going. The other thing is making sure we have the best of the best in all the divisions. When fans watch I want them too see that the title matches are always good and competitive.

^go ya even further: Well Universal Executuves, I know our show isn't exactly part if your regular offerings, but I really want this partnership to be mutually beneficial, and I think if you mentioned I'd in your advertising and made us part of special events in your park, it would be a boost for both of us. Your worried our company name will give the wrong impression? No problem! Once we move to your studio, we'll officially become Impact Wrestling! Heck, let's make a big event out if it with an official rebranding ceremony! What do you say?
What's this? The Knockouts are drawing some if our best ratings? Well that settles it, they are getting pushed! I want photo shoots for fitness magazines, health and beauty product endorsements, every interview and special appearance we can line up! And wait-Shark Boy's merchandise is selling highest of all? He's our merchandise mover! I want commercials if him shilling our merchandise, I want him signing autographs at toy stores, hey, don't we have a deal with Viacom? Let's get him onstage at the Kid's Choice Awards!
You've git an offer to appear on The Daily Show, Mick Fokey? PLEASE wear an Impact Wrestling shirt and remind people to tune in Thursdays on Spike! Ask Jon Stewart and his staff if they'd like to appear on our show! We can make a special event out of it! What, the tv show House used footage from our PPV on an episode? Someone, get FOX on the phone, I want us to be able to mention this on the air!
Me. Bollea, we would live to work with you. The name Hulk Hogan is a pop culture icon and I think we could do great things together. I just want to be sure we get good value forbear we can afford to offer you. My concern is that your health won't allow you to work a rigorous schedule, so what would you say to being a General Manager and our official Brand Ambassador? We'll line up every talk show and public appearance we can, all you have to do us wear an Impact Wrestling shirt and remind people to tune in every Thursday on Spike! No sir, I'm afraid hiring Eric Bischoff isn't in the cards, we already have a writing staff who have worked quite well for us do far. Sure, I'll give The Nasty Boys and Brutus Beefcake a few one-shot appearances, but only for a special occasion. Oh no sir! I'm only hiring one Bollea, I might be willing to advertise your daughter's CD, but I really don't see a place for her on our television program. You aren't willing to accept these terms? Best of luck then, but I understand Vince McMahon already turned you down...

My TNA would have died within 2 months of Panda Energy sponsorship after I left their offices upset and distressed that the president isn't a panda in a suit.
All of the remaining shows would be me sobbing in the middle of the ring in the middle of a badly booked inverse battle royale.

I can't fix what was broken, I can only try and rebuild.
The first thing I would do is rebrand the company. There is only negative equity in the name TNA. There are no glory years that people yearn for. The name sounds like a joke and needs to go for something more legitimate. I would make sure to have "wrestling" in the name so I could set myself apart from WWE.
Just looking at things from a talent standpoint the company did a nice job getting rid of big contracts that didn't produce any results. As big as Sting, Hogan, and Flair are, they didn't translate into ratings. Some could argue that the booking and creative was bad, and it was. Either way, the needle didn't move and money was burned. Going forward, I wouldn't run any house shows for a year and I would allow my talent to work anywhere in the world not named the WWE. If ROH wants to use my guys, great, more exposure for my talent. I know the argument that some people will make "what if they bury your talent"? While I do subscribe to old school philosophies, I don't think that my talent would get buried and if they did it would be in front of a bunch of Smarks.
As far as who I would sign: Colt Cabana Young Bucks Cliff Compton Luke Gallows (Not DOC, I let him come in and bill him as Big LG) Mike Bennett and Maria The Briscoes AJ Styles Adam Cole Kyle O'Reilly
I think these signings are doable because I could sign them to affordable deals and allow them to work anywhere they want when we don't have TV tapings.
As far as creative goes, everyone who's there is fired. I don't want any of the past getting in the way of where we are gong. I'd hire Court Bauer to book (he ran MLW and is a Gary Hart guy). I'd also hire Jim Ross for quality control and as an overall consultant. He could work out of Oklahoma and would only have to be at TV's and PPV's.
By streamlining creative and freshening the roster I really believe this could work and would be financially feasible.

Challenge Vince McMahon to a televised fistfight. Make myself World Champion. Fire Eric Young immediately.

Do what they did at the beginning, latch on someone's else credibility, remember it was called NWA-TNA, then they created their own stars and drop the NWA. I would basically become NJPW-Impact, then when I have new stars I would drop the new japan name too, just hope that Dixie is no longer the owner, because she's gonna screw the company again, then we would need to be called ROH-Impact, and so forth-
