I'm basing my opinion just on the show and Impact threads which both seem to have suffered from low attendance. The arena looks so dark I'm getting late WCW tv feelings. Except WCW drew more people before it died.

Simple solution to low attendance figures. Buy a warehouse. Put the ring in the middle of the warehouse. Then put up four green screens to surround the ring and then use the green screens to put in a fake audience. Hell, they can be creative and pretend the ring is in different locations for matches like they can pretend to be wrestling in a different city each week. Or in a moving means of transportation like a flatbed truck, train or even a cropduster. The possibilites are limitless. Have you ever wanted to see wrestling inside a Cracker Barrel? TNA can make that happen.

Tenay: That's Samoa Joe, Taz. Slice his belly and crawl in for warmth.

Its interesting because the shows haven't been as terrible as they've been when they had a bigger audience. They're not stellar shows, by any means, but just palatable.

Lately TNA every match is a dark match. The show regulars have gotten bored, I barely remembered to make the show thread yesterday

We're in Hell! I think I just saw Chris Benoit. Tenay: Fans we understand Satan will be here tonight. We have a camera outside ready for the arrival of his limo. What will the Lord of Darkness have to say tonight? Stay tuned. <Later on that night> Tenay: Everyone in the Hell Impact Zone is in shock. It turns out Satan was Vince Russo all along. What does this mean for TNA? What does this mean for the world? Perhaps we'll find out next week. Good night everybody.

I'm not criticizing the quality of the show itself, but the general atmosphere of the program. Audiences are not dumb. We can pick up on how dark those arenas are. It just feels like this is one of the latest indications that TNA is in terrible, dire straits.

Yeah, it does have a certain WCW 2001 feel to it.

At least when the product itself sucked, they had a LOT of people watching it.

It's like watching someone you know slowly wasting away and just waiting the unavoidable end to happen. Basically WCW 2001. Though the shows aren't shitfests like a couple of months ago, the damage has already been done. TNA is the new definition of lame duck.

Lately TNA every match is a dark match. The show regulars have gotten bored, I barely remembered to make the show thread yesterday I was so bored I checked out before Full Metal Mayhem. Part of it was because that's a match that shouldn't be happening in a dark arena, it should be happening in front of a crowd of thousands with a fully lit arena.

Yeah, it does have a certain WCW 2001 feel to it. TNA wishes they would be WCW 2001, hell at this point they wish they were AWA 1991

I made fun of them when they moved back to Thursdays after the Monday night war attempt "because the fans demanded it", but I really would watch Impact more if it were on Thursday. I'm sorry to be missing it.

I figured it'd be like this...
At the point I actually want to watch Impact and now that my schedule isn't stupid anymore, I get Suddenlink'd. I'm probably going to miss The Final Impact.
Viacom, you bastids.

Yeah, I wish it'd move back to Thursdays. I keep forgetting it's on Wednesday and I usually end up missing it entirely. I get it's to avoid clashing with FEWTBOLL!! and a possible return to the night for WWE Smackdown, but at least I would switch back and forth between the game and TNA on Thursdays.

I'm sorry to be missing it. I remember that moment Mike Tenay couldn't even say it while looking straight at the camera, the man has integrity, he hated lying.

Sooner or later everyone taps. I'm pretty sure commentating has tapped by this point. Taz has been redefining going through the motions, and that's saying something.

Sooner or later everyone taps. Yeah, not just on TNA for me but WWE as well. WWE is just the drizzling shits for three hours on a Monday night. TNA looks like it's in their death throws and personally I got school to worry about. I personally feel bad because the threads are awesome.
