So now that they're done taking shots at WWE all the time they've finally moved on and are now taking shots at NJPW. I'd say Triple A is next, but let's be realistic they won't be around long enough for the chance to take shots at them.

As fun as it is to poke fun at TNA's attendance, let's be fair. Of course there's obviously a few people there, but I'm still poking fun at the fact that they essentially have the ring in a corner so they can group everyone on one side for the cameras. They care more about their image than the fans there to see the show. Actually, "TNA cares more about their image than the fans" really boils down their whole problem. From Jarrett overexposure in the early days... to thinking WWE's D class castoffs are better than their own A class... to Dixie's overexposure in the latter days... to going broke trying to look good touring... to having a huge roster that they never use when half of it would work... to bringing in Hogan and Bischoff... to bringing in "celebrities"... to dozens of other examples I could list... It's always been them pissing on their current fans trying to make themselves look better, when they could have looked great if they'd just cultivated the fans that they had and gained more slowly via quality programming rather than pretty much everything they did.

There are plenty of legit issues with Bound for Glory and TNA in general, but arena set-up on this show isn't one of them.

The best analogy for Korakuen Hall would be that it is Japan's equivalent of the ECW Arena. It doesn't seat many but the acoustics and the crowd make it an incredible building.

All told, after seeing your picture, that looks like a fun place to see a show. Definitely a dozen steps down from where TNA wants to be, but I dig the atmosphere.

To be far that Wrestle 1 did most if not all the promotional work for this event.

What the hell are you doing, TNA? This was BFG? Your biggest show of the year? You flew halfway around the world too make your flagship PPV a half-assed house show? Christ. Inoki's show had a better card, and that took place in North Freaking KOREA!

As fun as it is to poke fun at TNA's attendance, let's be fair. You're right. Let's be fair. It's their biggest show of the year and after 12 years in business, they went to Tokyo and filled a hall with 1,500 people. What a spectacle!

I just didn't like the implications some people were making that there were 100 people there. I just want people to stick with all of the legit reasons to crap on TNA because there are plenty of those.

Biggest question of the night:
Did Tommy Dreamer wear Twitter Pants?

Biggest question of the night: Did Tommy Dreamer wear Twitter Pants? He wore a headband. Just to be like Funk. Even at this stage I'd prefer Funk over Dreamer. Dreamer is absolutely hideous to watch "wrestle".

From their WrestleMania to Insurrection in a year. Astounding.

You know that whole 'polite Japanese silence' thing? Well, there's that, and then there's just sitting on your hands and being bored. This show had a lot of that.
Just try popping in...hell, watch something from Bound for Glory 2011 even, don't have to go far back. And then go watch something from Bound for Glory 2007, say. It's pretty depressing to see the slide and very like the way the last few WCW PPVs felt.

I don't know how it looked on TV, but that photograph makes this look like one of the indie shows from Botchamania where the ring is only 6 inches off the ground.
