So WTF is happening here? There is no WAY Shawn would ever get with Maya's mom. So what is Riley's plan? Have him ADOPT her? That's absurd. More like Shawn being Maya's mentor. Think Shawn and Mr. Turner. |

I still find it odd that some teacher from Philly is the spokesperson for staying in school in New York. They figured the campaign worked so well on the Philadelphia subway system (as seen in the "Train of Fools" episode of BMW) that they decided to expand it throughout the northeast. |

So now it's being reported that Shawn's ex Angela and his father Chet (As a ghost I suppose) will guest star on GMW.
I liked that Shawn was making appearances, and I'm all for nostalgia, but, the show is getting a bit full and it IS called Girl Meets World.
I suppose this might be a one off (hopefully) with Angela returning to throw a cog in the wheel with what might me a relationship blooming with Shawn and Mya's mom, but they better resolve this story pretty quick, before the show switches tones.
