A year ago, I actually spent MONEY on this company. Money that I worked for, at a job I hate, and I spent a day or so's pay on a TICKET to watch Impact. On that show, AJ Styles cut this awful shoot promo, and Hogan was there screwing up lines and derailing angles, Sting was the hero running out with his bat and getting title shots he was storyline banned from getting, Bad Influence were transcending life itself, there was no such thing as a Bram, I mean shit was way different. It's been a long time since a company has gone through such change over the course of a year, hasn't it?

Probably have to look back to the last days of the AWA or the Global Wrestling Federation. It's rough.

Just imagine how massively different things would have been if 12 months ago Universal Studios welcomed them back with open arms.
They wouldn't be taping TV in front of 200 fans in darkened arenas. And Bound for Glory probably wouldn't have been a Japanese house show.

A year ago I bought a ticket for a TNA house show that I ended up not going to because it fell between two clinicals. At least I'll always have Destination X 2012, never forget! Sad to think that might be the last opportunity I'll have to buy a ticket for a TNA show that I don't bother to go to.

I think it's okay for a company to change though. No one wants to see the same guys wrestle the same guys on top over and over -- that's what lead WCW down its path to death.
They've made some changes for the better, in my eyes. Lashley is a great champion who actually wins matches clean, something Bully wasn't doing. Bram seems even more talented than Magnus and is getting a chance to show it. Sting, although great, wasn't bringing anything to the company anymore. Angle is being used well at the moment and guys like the wolves are getting wins over the Hardys and 3D.
They've made some good changes. It's just a shame the company itself is going down the toilet and I don't blame the talent one bit.

They've made good changes...because they're going down the toilet. There should be no doubt in any person's mind that if SPIKE renewed them and/or Janice wasn't cutting the budget to indie levels they'd still be delivering the same product they were. So yeah, the changes are good but to me they don't deserve credit for making them when it was the only thing they could do if they wanted to live.

Yeah, in my mind many of the changes over the past year have been for the better.
Unfortunately, it was all too little, too late, or an outright response to how bad things were getting. Here's TNA finally doing what they should've been doing all along: acting differently from WWE, putting on shows that WWE can't really put on given their overall presentation style...not trying to trump them, since they're too damn big to trump, but focusing on just putting on their own type of show that fans can gravitate to if they choose, but it's only happening now that we're on the cusp of the entire place falling apart. Sucks.

I'm sure if they still had the money, they'd have Hogan and Sting and Flair on every part of the show like they used to. It's sad that it took them losing their TV deal to finally put in consistently good shows.

Just an example at the beginning of the year people were comparing Magnus' title run to Orton. And now he's jobbing to Matt Hardy. Could you imagine the WWE doing that with Orton?

Neither Orton or Magnus have really done much of anything since losing their World titles except being someone's lackey. It's just that Orton jobs to Roman Reigns and is below Triple H and Seth Rollins on the Authority ladder while Magnet gets to job to Matt Hardy and is now one half of The Descencion.

Do Taz and Tenay still watch the show or do they just read lines that are written for them?

They can't do any more stupid heel stables because if they did, that would use up all their heels.

We haven't seen any change in TNA. They are collecting it up to pay the wrestlers, because the notes are long gone.

They tried to save the patient by cutting off his arm to prevent gangrene setting in. Unfortunately, the patient was blown up in an explosion.
That's TNA right now.
