Well the WWE Network finally is uploading Raws form 95 again, I watched the episode in which Bulldog turns heel. And I notice a difference on the phony explanation of why Lex wasn't there. On the WWE Network version of that episode Bulldog's says Lex couldn't be there because of a medical emergency. However online I saw Superstars from 9/2/95 and they played highlights of that and in taht version Bulldog says Lex couldn't be there because of car trouble. Did they change some of that diloque? Perhaps do that interview twice during the taping or have Bulldog dub over car trouble in place of medical emergency? Perhaps they thought to dark even it was proven to be a fake excuse and make is more family friendly with just mere car trouble.

You could have a medical emergency as a result of car trouble

I know it sounds horrible but I keep forgetting that Luger isn't dead. Like whenever I see or hear him mentioned I have to sometimes check that he isn't. It must have been a rumour I heard once that I've not been able to shake off.

When during the Superstars episode does this happen? I looked up the 9/2/1995 show on YouTube, but it doesn't seem to show a replay of that Raw segment. The only thing involving Bulldog was the in-ring promo with him and Cornette where they show footage from the Bulldog/Diesel-MOM match.
The 8/26/1995 Superstars episode is also on YouTube, and it does show a recap of that segment. In that version, it's "medical emergency".

Not many people in the IWC know it but my friend told me at school. He was Kevin Sullivan's first murder.

Luger wrestled a house show for the WWF on September 3rd 1995, which ended up being his last appearance. That RAW was the last one before they were pre-empted for the US Open, and I think at that stage, only Luger knew for sure he was leaving.

Apparently Vince orchestrated the hit due to Luger sleeping with an underage Stephanie McMahon.

I heard he didn't show up because he was tired of playing with kids.

Car trouble?
Couldn't he have used the Lex Express instead?

Car trouble? Couldn't he have used the Lex Express instead? Now I have the image of Lex in his ring gear in the driver's seat of the Lex Express trying to start it, pumping the gas, hearing the engine trying to turn over.
