Letting go of arguably the most over talent in the last year.
Yep. That's so TNA.

From a UK standpoint having Spud back after 2 years of being on TNA is going to be a big boost to the country. Sucks for him though, terrible waste of a good talent. He could have been a great X Divison underdog for them after his fued with EC3

My apologies if this is a work. Saw it posted by Botchamania on facebook, so I thought it was legit.

Even if true that would mean that he's released from a wrestling company with no scheduled dates for the rest of the year. Make that no scheduled dates at all. So you would be unable to work for a company that's not really working.

I've seen shows in the country with former WWE/TNA stars that don't draw over a couple of hundred. I've met Spud a couple of times through training seminars, and he'd be absolutely fantastic in a role where he's helping to train future British Stars, that if he did indeed come back to the UK full time. I do hope it is a work though, and he's back on TV sooner rather than later.

If they think they're saving money hiring Brodus and firing Spud they're not doing it right. Who are you to doubt El Brodus?

Well, it is definitely a work. "Oh...I'm a wrestler...non-refundable." If that is not the perfect encapsulation of TNA, I don't know what is.

Well, it is definitely a work. It's obviously a work, no one can afford tickets with tna's salary.

What an odd sentence that was.

He was entertaining but let's face there was nowhere else for him to go. Maybe be an interviewer but with the WWE guy they just hired, the guy will probably do that job.

With the James Mitchell story that came out a couple days ago, Can Wrestletaint confirm or deny the rumor I just made up that Rockstar Spud was allegedly going to be fired because Dixie Carter thought that EC3 is actually her nephew IRL and wanted to fire the guy he had a problem with?

Spud is gonna regret that he wasn't fired in real life when the paychecks stop coming in and he can't go elsewhere because he has a contract.

No "probably" about it now, the TNA account tweeted him about showing up on Impact tonight.
