I like it. Enjoyed the funky Holy Diver-esque riff.
Oh, and Language warning, I think.

I cannot express just how awesome the Foo Fighters are Easily my favourite band of all time. I could listen to all of their albums back to back and not be bored during any of it.

Agreed, and I may be in the minortiy that feels like their stuff has either been just as good, if not better as time has gone by. And in my humble opinion: Foo Fighters > Nirvana. *puts up flame shield*

And in my humble opinion: Foo Fighters > Nirvana. *puts up flame shield* I wholly agree. Nirvana only have a few good songs IMO, and are overrated simply because Cobain died young. Yes, I realise there probably would be no Foo Fighters without Nirvana, but I still feel the Foo Fighters are superior in every way.

Is it gay, if its foo fighters? One of the best times of my life is when I saw them live 3 years ago. Besides being a top notch musician, Dave's a grade A entertainer. Best show I've been to easily
Amazing. Cant wait for tomorrow night. Its gonna be hard to top Wasting Light (Better than Colour and Shape imo. God damn Adele)

Question: does it sound exactly like 75% of Foo Fighters singles and album tracks have done in the 21st Century? My computer is lacking in speakers, you see.

Do they still support and donate money to AIDS denialists, play benefit shows for them and generally make a nuisance of themselves with their dangerous unscientific bullshit?

Anyway, Foo Fighters have become one of those bands that are always reliable when it comes to putting out occasionally great, but always solid albums. I'd expect this to be another strong album. They're kind of like Pearl Jam and Queens of the Stone Age in that way.

well that was a pretty good show. I'm not a musician so I really just wanted to see them jam and make the record, but the historical context should be highly appreciated by music buffs. Anyway here's a link to a live show, there doing now new.livestream.com/hbo/foofighters

Agreed, and I may be in the minortiy that feels like their stuff has either been just as good, if not better as time has gone by. And in my humble opinion: Foo Fighters > Nirvana. *puts up flame shield* I love both bands, but I think their strengths lie in different avenues. Nirvana was the revolution. It was an angry, guttural response to the glam rock and hair bands of the 80's. It was the vanguard of alternative rock. Sure, they weren't the first grunge or alt rock band, but they were the ones to break into the mainstream with the Seattle Sound. But musically, the Foo Fighters are superior. They're more complex and an evolution and maturity from Dave Grohl's experience as Nirvana's drummer. Grohl's knowledge and talent at composition, playing all sorts of different musical instruments, AND singing (seriously, he recorded all the instrument tracks for the very first Foo Fighters album) is something to behold, and he's a massive student of music history of all sorts. Overall, I do like the Foo Fighters more. But at the same time, I can't deny Nirvana's historical significance and the influence they had on music from the 90's on. And they're pretty damn good, too. Though as far as grunge bands go, I preferred Alice In Chains. Soundgarden was damn good, too.

I know when i saw Amanda Palmer down the road at the metro curfew was like 10:30...but Paul McCartney was like midnight at wrigley field across the street...i believe foo was off at 11.
