We've talked about the worst, but I don't believe we've talked about the best...
For me, it's Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. I think it's even better than Rise from a few years ago. For me, this nudges out Guardians, X-Men, and from a completely different genre, The Grand Budapest Hotel. I did really love X-Men: Days of Future Past as well, but I have to go with Apes.

Days of Future Past, though there have been a lot of really good movies this year.

I haven't been to the movies a whole lot this year, but Guardians of the Galaxy is top for me. So much fun, an all round great movie.

I feel I have to say Edge of Tomorrow, I really loved The Purge Anarchy, Lucy and HTTYD 2 as well. I enjoyed a lot of other movies but these were the ones that I felt were really exceptionally fun to watch and tightly put together. Needless to say I'm stoked and looking forward to Sunday at the dollar theater where I'll follow up Peabody and Sherman, Get on Up and If I Stay with the trio of HTTYD 2 (fifth tme), Lucy (second time) and Purge Anarchy (fifth time). Might as well cap it off with Edge of Tomorrow on Blu-ray when I get home (Edge of Tomorrow leaving Warren Cinemark 16 was a sad day indeed).
