So, is Dixie that dumb, or is Russo telling the truth?
A wrestling paradox if there ever was one.

Imagine if she was owner of Chikara instead of TNA....
Dixie: GET THAT AWAY FROM ME! IT'S A SWAMP MONSTER!

I really hope that this is engraved on Russo's tombstone when his time is up many years from now. "Bro, I swear on my mother's grave, what you gotta understand is..."

I'm just hoping one day he'll get to book a "bag of commas on a pole" match. There are even more in the paragraph, unseen, which come and go. These are of course comma chameleons. And much like his common sense, they come and go. They come and goooooooooo.

I figure it's because this must have happened a lot in wrestling. Some bookers probably didn't know how to read. But he started out in the WWF by writing for their magazines. By his own admission, Russo doesn't like to read.

Bury the woman who buried her company to keep you employed. Stay classy Vinnie Ru.

I really hope that this is engraved on Russo's tombstone when his time is up many years from now. In a swerve he won't be buried but rather cremated than shot into space That swerve's far too small-minded for Russo's corpse. A real Russo corpse swerve would involve Russo being stuffed Jeremy Bentham-style so he can attend TNA Booking Meetings and be listed in the booking notes as "present but not booking".

But he started out in the WWF by writing for their magazines. By his own admission, Russo doesn't like to read. He also admits that he barely got through college and wasn't shy about using questionable tactics to pass tests. Only in wrestling could a 'writer' be so horrible at actually reading, writing, and editing.

Imagine if she was owner of Chikara instead of TNA.... Dixie: GET THAT AWAY FROM ME! IT'S A SWAMP MONSTER! Using giant cans of Raid to get rid of all those damn ants and bugs running around. Scouring Amazon.com for a copy of Gray's...Sports...Almanac. Looking up theories of time travel and trying to constantly book Kazarian because she thinks he's the only one who can use the DeLorean. Keeping the lights low enough to where Icarus' wings don't melt. Surrounding the arena with sandbags to stop The Flood. Finding a mate for Eddie Kingston so his breed won't die out. Dixie being Chikara owner would be too good for this reality.

Dixie: "People are booing Mitchell. Clearly the fans don't like him, let's release him."
Idiot.

The fact that this man held a job in wrestling for almost 20 years is the biggest joke of all time, I wonder what did McMahon ever saw on him? How did he had the patience to sit there and hear every idea he ever spewed?

I kind of get the feeling that James Mitchell thinks he was more valuable then he actually was. I am a fan of the guy, but by no means is he a top tier money guy that has promos that specifically make me want to spend cash on the product. If anything what I found endearing and entertaining about him was how over the top and cheesey he was with his delivery. By no means would I put him on the list of actual money making managers like Paul Heyman and Bobby Heenan.

TNA capitalized on this by making what almost had to be a conscious effort to tear down any vestige of credibility Abyss had. That said, sure, he's overstating things a little. I do think some of his limitations were due to shit booking and his being underutilized, but he'd still fall closer to the middle than the top of managers to me, agreeing with you there.

Because they got legs and that's something Mitchell never had a chance to do. If Heyman appeared out of nowhere today as a manager everybody be like wtf is this dude doing, nothing special really. But because you knew him since the ECW days, you are familiar with his persona then suddenly he is a "money making" manager. Heenan has obvious talent and he is in the league of his own but he could have had never showcased his talent if he hadn't been given the opportunity in the long run.

I hated Vic Venom back in the day, those articles were one of the reasons why I preferred WCW to begin with
