IIRC Virgil got a nice pop for turning on Dollar and was pretty over for a while, but mainly I was entertained by the hilarity of his gimmicks with his debut as Curly Bill being the pinnacle.

He is kind of like the textbook example of mediocrity in a wrestler in some ways. He also kind of comes across as a bit of a scumbag in some of his dealings, to be brutally honest.
He's brought a lot of amusement with his hanger-on status over the years, so there's that.

Virgil is one of those unique guys who made a living in pro wrestling without having any real definable talents for it. He couldn't wrestle, couldn't talk, had no charisma, etc. He wasn't even good enough to be an enhancement wrestler. I still enjoyed him as DiBiase's bodyguard and he had some pretty hilarious moments as the nWo stooge Vincent.

I had a Virgil Hasbro figure (and still have it somewhere), who I used to test out the other figures' finishing moves on

Both his main ring names are 'hilarious' ribs on rival promoters.
That is the pinnacle of his career.

As a kid, I enjoyed Virgil's face run and was pretty disappointed as he kept going lower and lower on the card from 1992 even into 1994 or 95. It pained me to see him crushed with the vice by Crush at the Survivor Series Showdown and in the 94 Rumble, he was just an alternate and Vince and Dibiase made that clear. Judging from the History of WWE ring results, he was still with the company until May 1995. I was pretty disappointed those matches weren't on TV.
He was kind of an "interchangeable" guy as his roles could be used for anyone else and they probably would have the same results. He served a purpose as the bodyguard and he served a purpose fighting against his former employer but the role could've gone to anyone else.

I do believe Missy Hyatt appreciated him. That's all I got.

Lol when he used to tell fans at conventions that he was working in new japan Cliff Compton's story about how he cut a promo at some random indie show that Hollywood Hogan had personally sent him to whatever town the show was at to deal with some "nWo business" (in 2010) is a classic.

Virgil's greatest contribution to wrestling:
Royal Rumble '94. Buzzer sounds. No one appears. "Aww, that must have….that must have been Bret Hart's spot who was injured today…"
Later in the match, buzzer sounds. Bret appears to much fanfare and surprise. "We're now being told the spot earlier was Virgil who got sick."
Virgil added a lot of drama to RR1994, but I love the idea he just got a cold and called in sick and no one really noticed until he didn't go through the curtain, and no one noticed he wasn't in the match.
