He was great as Virgil. Definitely enhanced Dibiase's character to have him in the bodyguard role. He always looked cool standing there silently fanning out a handful of one hundred dollar notes. His split from Dibiase was very well written. The problem was that they didn't seem to have much of a plan for him afterwards.

Not appreciating him until he gives OOC his tenner back. Don't be fooled Jimmy, he'll take a tenner off you and everyone you know if he ever has the chance.

Virgil's greatest contribution to wrestling: Royal Rumble '94. Buzzer sounds. No one appears. "Aww, that must have….that must have been Bret Hart's spot who was injured today…" Later in the match, buzzer sounds. Bret appears to much fanfare and surprise. "We're now being told the spot earlier was Virgil who got sick." Virgil added a lot of drama to RR1994, but I love the idea he just got a cold and called in sick and no one really noticed until he didn't go through the curtain, and no one noticed he wasn't in the match. But Virgil was in the '94 Rumble. I think you're thinking of Bastion Booger.

I'll always remember the moment, when I was really young, that I had trouble remembering how to say his name and came out with "Gervil". My Mom, to this day, will joke around with me about that.

Pretty bad when Virgil gets credit for adding drama by not being in the match... then you find out that he actually was in the match.

For all the mockery this guy gets, let's face it, most fans would give their right arm to have been involved in the moments in wrestling history he was, during one of wrestling's greatest ever eras.

The 1994 Royal Rumble was notable for the fact that Vince tried his best to make it seem as though every entrant could win it and get a title shot at WM
Even Sparky Plugg.

He had to talk about something because he couldn't do his usual "He's got him down! He's going to win this match! 1............2....<guy kicks out>..........3, yes he got him! Wait, no! So close!"

Yeah, it was Bastion Booger who missed the rumble. I was pretty pissed because he had announced his number on a Superstars or All American and when someone else came out to that number it upset me. I liked Booger. Then it turned out he never showed, which was kayfabe for them thinking it was Bret. I suppose it all worked out considering Rumble 94 and WrestleMania X were big moments for Bret who is one of my favorites.

I can't believe this guy ever got any sort of paycheck and TV time from WCW, let alone into the year 2000.

Virgil: my autograph isn't worth every penny like Jack's, but anyway, give me 20 dollars.

I feel sorry for Virgil. Imagine the hard times he must have fallen on after 1995 to end up back as Ted Dibiasi's bodyguard, sorry, I mean nWo head of security in 1996.

My favorite story was when he accepted one third of the money Charles Wright (Papa Shango) wanted so that he could be back on tv as the nwo bodyguard.
