The last year of IMPACT is about as exciting as watching me poop blood on a webcam.
Oddly enough, they finally start putting out some decent TV and it's probably too little too late.

Friends and Scrubs immediately come to mind. Doesn't really count but the last few years of X-Play were really bad, as was the last season of Attack of the Show. They finally cancelled Attack Of The Show? My wife and I used to watch it religiously back in the day when it was Kevin and Olivia. It reminded me of old 80's MTV type stuff with a modern twist. It got crappy after Olivia Munn, Will Oneil, Anna David, etc. we're gone though so we stopped watching.

I thought she was good and the show was alright, but then Kevin left and it sank like a rock. The show was gone less than a year after he left along with X-Play and the entire G4 network.

Scrubs Season 9 was so bad I don't acknowledge that it existed. Scrubs Season 9 gave us Dave Franco and Michael Mosley. I can't hate it for that reason. Even in the context of a spinoff, it didn't work. It felt very tired. The new characters were quite frankly terrible. And it made no sense for the original characters that were there to be there. It was complete garbage. It being made Season 9 because of network fiat is the cherry on top of the shit sundae. Really? If anything it would have made no sense for them not to be there. All of them except J.D. still work at Sacred Heart so why would they all just suddenly disappear? And even then, only Denise (introduced in Season 8), Turk and Cox were full time characters. The rest were on recurring/guest star status.

There are some that I found to be awful to the point that I could only get a few episodes in and just cut the show off from there:
Gilmore Girls The A-Team Arrested Development (S3) DBGT (as the final leg of the anime that began as Dragon Ball)
I also strongly dislike Teen Titans season five, but my enjoyment of the good ones kept me suffering through it for the moments here and there that were not boring or awful.

The only show that remains from the old G4 network is American Ninja Warrior, but that's because NBC loved it.

Arrested Development (S3) That 'Wee Britain/Brain' stuff just drags the whole thing down. They had 13 episodes to sail off with a significant chunk of them are dedicated to bad set-up and shittier execution; a baffling one, indeedy-do. I actually dig season 4 for the most part. Yeah, it wear the fact it couldn't get the cast in one place too long too heavy, but, meh, from GOB on it ranks up there.

Coupling. Removed the one entertaining guy in the cast (Jeff) and replaced him with a biphobic, misogynistic sci-fi obsessed git called Oliver, and for once, Steven Moffat's self-insert character didn't seem the one who was most like him. They tried, but yeah it wasn't the same. Richard Coyle left on his own terms, though, no? But at least S4 gave us the burial of NBC in one episode. Still, S3 had a perfect ending and could have led to a one-off special to tie everything together. Would I be accurate in saying Are You Being Served? was a shell of its former self in the last season? Just because Mike Berry = one of the worst Replacement Scrappies of all time! Maybe THE worst. People give Linda Thorson crap for The Avengers, but she wasn't that bad.

I just didn't think it made much sense for the Chief of Staff (Cox) and Chief of Surgery (Turk) to also teach at a medical school. Then again I'm not a doctor so maybe that's more common than I thought. Also I couldn't stand Denise, though I didn't like any of the Season 8 Interns. They were a weak spot in an otherwise pretty solid final season.

I don't get multiple people mentioning The Office. The second to last season with James Spader was atrocious, but the last season was mostly pretty decent and nowhere near as bad. I guess some random picks...
-True Blood/Heroes/Dexter (all of them were pretty awful for the least few seasons anyway, so I'll group them together) -Felicity -Seinfeld -Batman: The Animated Series kind of fell off a cliff once the name change came into play

Killed all interest I had in watching the show. Killed it dead. I loved that show, but that was not the show I loved. I don't have Netflix so I haven't seen what's been done since.

I guess Dynasty is an exception (s1-2 were good , s3-8 were average & final s9 was decent)
Batman s3 (despite Batgirl it sank in subpar scripts , holy tragedy & holy waste)

I still say the final season of Battlestar: Galactica was an abomination. Still haven't finished that show, and never intend to.
One I'm not seeing mentioned is Fringe. That whole bad future was a lot cooler/more dire as a bad future idea than as an entire season.

Battlestar Galactica because f*** THAT ENDING!!!
Buffy season 7 wasn't horrible, and had a few legit highlights (pretty much all involving Andrew). that said the damage was already done with season 6 and any new character they introduced not played by Tom Lenk or Nathan Fillion was horrible.

Two things I hated everything on DBZ after Frieza was defeated by Goku. That was a perfect ending point for the series and it just got absurd afterwords. Also I really think Gilmore Girls holds up well for its run,. I never liked the Luke daughter story line and hated that Christopher and and Lorilei broke up and what happened to Georgia? She just disappeared. However I really think the show stays good throughout.
