Scrubs Season 9 was so bad I don't acknowledge that it existed. Season 8 was back to form too, and they had that great finale. NEVERMIND THAT SHIT, HERE COMES THAT TOUGH COOL CHICK AND THAT WEIRD DUDE

I consider Dragon Ball, DBZ, and DBGT all different shows but the lack of involvement from Akira Toriyama really shows with GT.

Got to add another vote for Dexter. Unless you subscribe to the theory, that the writers wanted to give the viewers the television equivalent, of being chopped into pieces.

How I Met Your Mother. I could go on for many, many, many hours about this, but the sticklers for me are:
- Spending AN ENTIRE SEASON on a wedding that meant jack shit 20 minutes into the finale of said season.
- Undoing ALL character growth from the last 9 seasons.
- Killing the mother who turned out to be a damn fine character in the short time she was there, leading to...
- French Shoehorning TedxRobin back in. Despite having spent SIX seasons telling us they couldn't work. Despite that stupid f***ing Balloon!Robin scene. Despite the fact they built up BarneyxRobin as something good, those MORONS Bays and Thomas had their "clever" ending from EIGHT f***ING YEARS AGO be the ending. THE ENDING NOBODY WANTED. YOU DUMB MOTHERf***ERS. This is just so rage-inducing because I can't even enjoy watching old episodes now. The joy is gone knowing how it ends. The fans deserved better than the steaming pile of bullshit those idiots served up as a finale.

I don't get multiple people mentioning The Office. The second to last season with James Spader was atrocious, but the last season was mostly pretty decent and nowhere near as bad. I guess some random picks... I'm with you. I thought the last season of The Office was pretty damn good compared to seasons 7 and 8.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, it may have been a little better than season 6, but that's not saying much. A massive far cry from seasons 1 - 5. Season 6 of Buffy was awesome, and I'll fight anyone who disagrees!

My life is better because the Buffy musical episode exists.

I love The Office but I tapped out after watching the first two episodes of the final season. Honestly, once Andy leaves about halfway through the final season, it gets way, waaaay better. Like, we're talking Season 5 level good. Much, much MUCH better than their penultimate season, which is the absolute lowpoint of the series with Andy as an awful character and Robert California as the worst character in the show's history. Trust me, if you love "The Office," just to test out the final season, watch the eighth episode of season nine "The Target." From there, go back to once Andy leaves (I believe it's two episodes prior in "The Boat") and then go in order to ride it out. The final half-season run really pulled it together for a proper sendoff.

The last season of Seinfeld gets too much flack. It's a major step down and it's very over the top, but there's still episodes I like: Frogger, Merv Griffin Show, The Bookstore, Festivus, Puerto Rican Day and the finale was a cool idea. Other episodes have one or two good storylines but the rest of the episode isn't good.

Bewitched, it was mostly all downhill after Dick York left and was replaced by Dick Sargent with repeated storylines from earlier seasons and increasingly stupid plots. But the last season seems especially bad.
Also, the Brady Bunch. With the introduction of Cousin Oliver, Greg's hair turning orange from Bobby's shampoo, etc.

Last two seasons of the Office are a toss up for me. A lot of season 8 is blah with Robert California and Nellie not working as characters.
Season 9 has better highs but they turn Andy into an asshole who's neither likable or funny, Pam and Jim's problems feel contrived, and the new cast isn't terribly interesting. Last three episodes are really solid though and they at least stick the landing.

I know she has never been great and as Karen accurately said in season 3 she is kind of a bitch but dang they just went way overboard with it at the end.

I know she has never been great and as Karen accurately said in season 3 she is kind of a bitch but dang they just went way overboard with it at the end. Pam and Jim having marriage difficulties isn't a problem in and of itself, and the serious stuff was well acted Fischer and Krasinski. The problem is that its stuff that should have been gradually and subtly happening in the previous few seasons. Instead its condensed to one season with it feeling out of nowhere. I think Greg Daniels returning as showrunner explains some of it, because he was in his mind likely re-railing the show back to its darker roots, which also explain the negative characterization of Andy. The problem with both though is that the previous seasons had gone in a different direction and thus the adjustment just doesn't feel natural.

It hasn't aired yet.... Also, re: The Office, I thought the next to last season was the horrible one - and I'd thought that was a general consensus amongst fans if the show as a whole...

The last season of the original Star Trek wasn't all that great. The first two are amazing. The third season took a big nosedive.

There are some that I found to be awful to the point that I could only get a few episodes in and just cut the show off from there: Gilmore Girls This. The show creator quit outright when the show had already been slowly declining and that last season just absolutely fell off a cliff. The final episode was so rushed. 'f*** it just get them together and then f*** off.'
