Admittedly I haven't seen a lot of hell in the cell matches in their entirety but I never really understood going to the top. It's not like you can drag someone up there so it basically requires both guys agreeing to go to the top of structure and risking their lives. If I had a big enough grudge that it required hell in a cell I'm not going to take the time to climb up said cell. When that bell rings I'm going at my opponent. Use the cage walls, use the lack of escape. There is no logical reason for going on top of the cell.

The thought process is "I'm going to throw you off the top", it's not "if I go up, I may be the one who falls".

If they're going to go off the top, a cool visual might be Dean trying to throw Seth off but Seth keeps overcoming it. Dean goes crazy and drags Seth down with him.

Well it made sense for all the times it happened for most it was a coward heel trying to escape the face being desperate enough to climb the cell just to get away and as for Mankind vs Taker it was basically Mankind being insane and Taker going "I will f***ing kill you for this" .

Anyone ever jumped from the top onto an opponent? Sounds like Seth's kinda thing. His thing is dying? Because thats likely the thing to happen. I can't believe anyone wants them to take a fall off the thing. Especially since its bigger now than it was in the Foley fall.

Yup. Either that or they'll get color. No way they get color. Nobody gets it anymore.

Have him jump off onto a bunch of guys that catch him or something. Make it a running jump and it'll make hightlight reels for years.

They could all get seriously hurt or god forbid they completely drop Seth or he misses entirely. Plus, the cell is bigger now. Didnt the Shane falls involve a gigantic crash mat? Especially for guys so young with their careers in front of them. Its a needless risk to be taking. Look at how Foley walks nowadays.

No one is going off the top...thankfully. I would prefer a 1 on 1 match with no cage to be honest be still should be good.

To me the three best Cell matches didn't climb it. Taker/Lesnar used the Cell to destroy each other but stayed inside, Legacy/DX used it to tell one of the best stories in it and Taker/Hunter never left it and put on Taker's best Mania match and they didn't even blade the the other two.
Basically, if they're good enough, and they are, they can put on a great Cell match without resorting to the stuntman shit.

Same, or at the least, "finally kiss". I was going to say "...make out.". Honestly one of the only reasons I keep tabs on WWE anymore is I really don't want to miss the feud where the two rivals finally just start making out in the middle of the ring. It's why I'm a huge advocate for Rock/Cena III

I don't think anyone should attempt anything like that. But this is a stunt, so use your imagination. Need to use a crash mat? Use a crash mat! The point is you can make a cool visual that makes people who miss it think they missed an epic match. If you can't do it safely, don't. But it can be made safe.

I somewhat agree, though given that there will be two cell matches on the same card, it seems like Rollins/Ambrose should bring some of the stunts. Two HiaC matches in the same night, both of which stay in the cell, would likely be very repetitive.

When first reading this thread title I thought it would be a thread saying "Anyone think Dean and Seth will give in to their sexual tension."? Well Shawn and trips managed not to until they kissed on HBK's last night.......

When first reading this thread title I thought it would be a thread saying "Anyone think Dean and Seth will give in to their sexual tension."? Well when locked in satan's structure anything can happen....*makes appointment to go visit satan's structure, devil's playground, other things about hell and architecture* but to answer, I kind of expect with Rollins' chicken shit heel type persona that one of the first things he'll do is run away, or devise a way to get out and climb up the cage.

Reveal Gene Simmons is in the front row during an Ambrose/Rollins segment or match. The whole crowd will start chanting, "Kiss, Kiss, Kiss, Kiss".
