Still convinced the Cowboys are going to go 12-4 and choke it away in the first playoff game in epic fashion.
The Choking Moment will gain a name on the level of Buttfumble.
And hopefully it's against the 49'ers for historical purposes.

The NFL has all but ruined the Sunday afternoon schedule with all of these prime time games and flex scheduling. I get such crap matchups weekly.

Being the bad pun aficionado I am, I'd like to submit "Turn Down for Watt" as the current thread title.

Mine would be "Percy and the Jets" because it sounds like a band destined to fail, like it is.

I just looked over the schedule for this week and noticed there's another "Who cares?" game set for MNF. Has there been a decent Monday night game so far this season? It seems like in the last couple of years the marquee games are usually on Sunday night.

It seems like in the last couple of years the marquee games are usually on Sunday night. SNF has definitely surpassed MNF in terms of matchup quality. Look at this week, FFS. Sunday night we get a possible Super Bowl preview in 49ers/Broncos. Monday night we get a lukewarm matchup in Texans/Steelers

Doesn't need to be said, but I'd like a strong showing from the Bengals at Indy today. The past two weeks have been rough.

It seems like in the last couple of years the marquee games are usually on Sunday night. When they switched networks in 2006, it was intended that Sunday Night would become the new Monday Night. Monday Night games right before the network switch were becoming increasingly one-sided, and the NFL knew it.

Two offside penalties take away a Rodgers interception and give the Packers 3rd and short. Which leads to a Rodgers first down run and then a pass to Nelson for the TD.
