www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_SaLDT6H3UHAH, watch from 2:15 onwards Cornette would be having an anyeurism if it was 2014 "hey it's Vic Venom" "morning Kevin" Edit: Vic Venom is pretty much a parody of the stereotypical internet wrestling fan, not sure if its Russo playing his character, or if Russo if the prototype smark.

I think the main thing that needs to be addressed here is...
My god, 1996 Sunny.

I went to watch a couple of seconds of this and I'm currently watching the entire episode. I forgot how innovative this show was. Great find, EGSCR.

The last phone call of the program is somebody asking Vince about his feelings regarding Eric Bischoff, and why there isn't a 24 hour wrestling network. Vince scoffs as they run out of time but says even though they have the resources and library for it, he would need Ted Turner's money to make a 24 hour wrestling network.

If Cornette ever does another Kayfabe Commentaries someone should send this, I'd love to hear him talk about it.
Also Paul Heyman is on the show, albeit in audio form

"That's not Bruce from Connecticut!" Ah what a great show, I love Vic Venom. www.youtube.com/watch?v=D_SaLDT6H3UEdit: Vic Venom is pretty much a parody of the stereotypical internet wrestling fan, not sure if its Russo playing his character, or if Russo if the prototype smark. I think if Russo was the prototype smark McMahon wouldn't have touched him with a 20ft barge pole. There were, even at this point, internet message boards and dirtsheets that were very popular. This was a shot at them, I think they even take a shot at Meltzer in this episode.

I think the main thing that needs to be addressed here is... My god, 1996 Sunny. She's a lot of fun in this video too. Great wrestling personality, cutting a promo on Sable about having wrinkles at 28 and when Vince says Sable's the most beautiful women in the WWF, Sunny suggests she wrestle Vince and put him in the sharpshooter.

I think Russo is playing a guy who's always right. Like he's written himself the character of being the one who tells it like it is. Whereas he came off as an obnoxious piece of crap he probably thought everyone at home was toasting the SOB "Yeh, about damn time someone said that!!". It's pure vanity.
