Yes as long as Lesnar retains.

Not really as I see Orton as a glorified stooge, to me he's basically Jamie Noble without pants, Lesnar squashing stooges should be a Raw thing (a Lesnar vs Noble and Mercury handicap match would be great).
Plus a series of Orton vs Heyman promos would be torture.
That said it's a fresh match where they should be able to top their previous encounter so that's good, especially if Orton is the face and as such doesn't deliberately set out to bore the shit out of everybody.
Depending on when the match is (did they say?) there may be time to build Orton up too.
So I guess it's a case where I may not interested but can see the logic and why others would be so it's not a problem.

Two things.
1.I'd rather that than Lesnar vs Cena again. It's something we've never seen so I'll give it a chance.
2. Orton needs to lose. Ambrose vs Lesnar could be f***ing MONEY.

Pre RKO on Heyman, anyone else think Heyman would be a hell of a manager for Orton? After the RKO on Cena, Orton was talking shit and Heyman was behind him laughing, it's all I could think about. Well, until the RKO on Heyman.

It's a fresh matchup, at least.

it's a rare fresh matchup of main eventers so i wouldn;t mind it at all.
unless they really want to have cena/lesnar for the fourth time of Lesnar's dozen or so matches since he came back. this time cena comes even closer to winning than before but...doesn't, until their next match because now cena has decided he REALLY knows how to beat brock now by wanting to beat brock even MORE than before.

I enjoy 99.9% of Orton's work and am sick to death of Cena so that's a definite yes

I'm actually eager to see that match. Wiley Viper Orton vs. Monster Lesnar could be a damned awesome match. Plus at the very least, we get to see Brock Lesnar ragdoll Randy Orton.

I'd like it if Orton wins due to Authority shenanigans and it results in Heyman forming a Dangerous Alliance in retaliation.

I wanted this match at Night of Champions. Cena was decimated at Summerslam and the rematch made no logical sense in kayfabe or from a booking standpoint. Orton had a natural grievance (HHH going to Lesnar and marginalising Orton's role in the Authority) and challenging Brock would have been a fresh match-up. He'd have taken on a tweener role, growing some balls and standing up to HHH whilst not quite pulling the trigger on leaving the authority.
Although the timing isn't as good now I still feel that a similar angle would work if they do it soon. I know people are down on Orton's neutered, stale character, but I think a feud with Lesnar and tweener role could revitalise him and crowd response to him.

Yes, definitely. I salivate at the prospect of Orton taking an F-5, just to see how he sells it. I imagine it'd be like Stetch Armstrong in a hurricane.

If Randy double-crosses the authority and punts Rollins in the head before his match with Lesnar, effectively ruining the 'Plan B' in case Lesnar still gets the pinfall victory, that would be the best scenario. Randy 'making HHH proud of him' sinks my enthusiasm for him into the ground, he was much better when he was RKO-ing HHH's wife just to get a rise out of him.

On a Raw building up to Mania, sure. Brock's winning anyway, and Orton's credible enough to give him a good fight (and a good match) without making Lesnar look weak.

Orton having to go balls to the wall to avoid getting his face crushed sounds like a legitimately amazing match. No slowing down, rest holds or any of that. Just fighting.

2009 era Randy Orton? Yes Corporate slave/manservant Randy Orton? No (but I'd like to see this version of Orton get the Summerslam 2014 John Cena treatment of jobbing to BrockZilla)

It's better than yet another f***ing Cena/Lesnar match.
