With Halloween approaching and it being the Horror season, no better time to discuss and share some movie scores that are creepy and set a very eerie, ominous mood. Which can you think of?
Mutation from the Akira OST leaps to mind right away. Just listen to it; it's very dark and sinister-sounding and the chanting in the background makes it all the more unsettling. Always set a creepy mood for me.

I make it a point to listen to the Suspiria soundtrack by Goblin every Halloween.

Don't ask me why, but I love the story about how the theme for the Halloween movies was actually a timing exercise Jon Carpenter's father taught him on a set of bongo drums.
