Besides the whole AJ Styles deal and not paying the bar tabs, I liked his run there, he wasn't like Hogan knocking out Fortune one by one, he actually wanted to help stablish guys. Look at his feud with Jay Lethal, particularly the promo when Jay was at the ramp impersonating Flair and Flair throwing his shoes at him, it was epic. He also had great segments with Mick Foley. Flair has his demons sure but if you pay him he's gonna give it everything he has. I think that TNA regrets the way they dealed with the whole Hall Of Fame deal, instead of threating to sue, they should've let it happen, the wwe would've mention them for sure and they would've gotten a major exposure.

It completely shit on the grand farewell the wwe gave him. Oh yeah of course lol, even one of his buddies Barry Windham got mad about that, Barry said that because of that no one is getting a send off like that one again, yeah I wonder why Vince took him back after that, well Vince has bailed him out on numerous ocassions

It completely shit on the grand farewell the wwe gave him. This....I thought he'd ride off into the sunset and enjoy retirement as a road-agent or ambassador for WWE, instead he goes to the competition, and, with the exception of his feud with Lethal, looks like a cartoon character of himself. Definitely not how I wanted to see Flair on national TV post "retirement"

I honestly loved it. Separating the art from the artist, and disregarding the retirement in WWE, we never really got the full meal deal Ric Flair experience for much of Flair's time in WWE, it was nice to see unfiltered crazy person Ric Flair in TNA and that in itself was an alright farewell.

Remember how he kept getting Iced by Fortune?
Remember when getting Iced was a thing?
Good times.

In all honesty, Flair in TNA COULD have been something great if it had been done right. Flair as a manager, an announcer, or a GM style character could have worked easily. Heck, the idea of Flair taking AJ Styles or maybe Bobby Roode under his wing would have been golden-if Flair had been willing to play second fiddle to a younger star. But for some reason he figured he could still go full time like back in the day.

I would have preferred him to stay retired, but some of the TNA stuff was fun. The Lethal and Foley stuff in particular were just great.

I think he also did the best with the material he was given, like besides the Jay Lethal feud creative didn't knew what else to do with him. I've always wondered what was supposed to be the payoff for lethal after feud, but tna being tna decided to fire him while he was at his hottest.

It was more of a limp, in fairness. Seeing Flair's 60+ arse at is on my anti-bucket list.
He's also half-responsible for one of the most rotten pieces of ring-attire in this history of the game: AJ's hooded robe.
