I advised her and her significant other to take a relaxing vacation. My exact words were, "Let off some steam, Bennett!" This is in no way a convoluted set up to a reference.

She might of been the prettiest women to ever work in the WWE. I miss her. She always seemed to put in effort all the time.

In most situations, it's a shrewd business move to keep in contact with former employers, especially ones with whom you remain in good standing. There are innumerable ways this association can pay off for the both of them.
The WWE/ROH mutual admiration is similar to the WWE/ECW one, minus the under-the-table financing.

Some people may disagree but I love her in ROH. Not just because she's hot either although goddamn, she be banging. I really like the Kingdom and the act she has going with Mike Bennett.

I haven't read the article, but if it doesn't mention that she got married (this month!) to a wrestler she manages in Ring of Honor, then it's really not telling the whole truth about where she is now.

And you would think with as much love as WWE.com has given ROH and the indy scene in the last year or so, it wouldn't be that big of a deal.

Hasn't it been reported that there has been problems between Maria and the Bellas which is what is keeping her out of the WWE?

Hasn't it been reported that there has been problems between Maria and the Bellas which is what is keeping her out of the WWE? Maria has claimed it in interviews. For a specific interview, check her interview with the Law from this year or last year. She pretty much confirms or sticks to her story.

This thread is suffering from a dire need of visual representations of it's subject matter. Purely for those who don't follow ROH to have a reminder of who Maria is of course.

My apologies, I posted images of Maria without mentioning her freakish tongue. I am so ashamed. Maria could never wrestle, but neither can the Bellas really... I say bring in Bennett and Maria. Hell, once Bryan's healed up Vince can book a 3-way intergender tag match with Nikki and John as well. I don't care, I just miss Maria.

I wasn't watching when she was in WWE, but snippets I saw of her as an intetviewer I liked. I thought she was a cute, fun character and was thought it was good for her to not be put in the ring (I guess they did and sounds like she wasn't good).
Then, she was on Afterbuzz, co-hosting their post Raw show and really came to like her and realize she was cool and smart. It was a shame when she left (Haven't listened in a year, so don't know if she's back).

Loved her as the ditzy, bubbly interviewer. She was adorable. In the ring she was kinda crap but was pretty likeable which is why the crowds probably liked her a lot.
Although I didn't want her or the other divas asked to return to come back, what happened to them was extremely childish. Using who you're dating to refuse someone a job is a completely asshole thing to do.

It was epic during the trial of Eric Bischoff when she spoke all normal and intelligent as if she was a Harvard graduate.

That's a pretty recent person to do a feature on.
One small thing I like about current WWE - if a diva has been around for years, she gets a send-off. Sometimes it's relatively big (like Eve) or small like (Beth, Kaitlyn) but it's something. There's a segment acknowledging that they will no longer be around.
Mickie, Melina and Maria just disappeared from TV one week. I know they were fired but I feel like if it happened today, they'd get some sort of send-off.
