If I learned anything from this it is to... QUOTE EVERYTHING!! Everything? Everything.

I switched off notifications.
I was blushing too much when people quoted my posts and offered gushing praise for the life-changing wisdom and eloquence contained within.

I don't mind quoting someone or being quoted. If I post something turn I put enough thought into it before putting it out there that I'm willing to defend or explain further if need be.

I actually have notifications turned off because it got annoying.
However, I did like to use the search option to use my name as a means to see who quoted me, however it doesn't seem to work anymore. In fact, the whole search option has really sucked ass over the last couple months. It seems like no matter how I try to pull it, it doesn't pull anything I search for, let alone any quoted responses. I'd much rather do that, as opposed to get the notification, and have to tediously click through each and every response.

I've probably quoted someone more often than just simply replying to the thread.
It make me wonder how many people I've made cry over the years.

I've been known to quote myself. I quote myself all the time. Sometimes, twice a day.

No because when I am quoted it makes me feel good, and when I quote someone else its either to make an attempt at a joke or further a discussion

I get more nervous being quoted rather than quoting
Especially if I don't remember what I said

Generally for me, it's more "knowing when to like a post or quote it" than anything. I don't want to just repeat something if I agree, but if I think of something to say I don't want to forget it. I don't know, this stuff is hard

I mean, the poster you quote is gonna get a notification about it, so you better make sure it's a damn good post, and not a complete waste of their time. Like, if they see they've got a notification, they're gonna be all kinds of excited. It's either gonna be a like or someone's quoted them. But they see somebody has quoted them and all it turns out to be is a 'QFT', they're gonna be all kinds of pissed. I'm just saying, these days you've gotta be really careful about quoting people, 'cause you don't wanna piss people off or make them cry. Not like the old days when you didn't get a notification when someone quoted you. You could've made a post and someone could've quoted you, but you might never visit the thread again, so you'd never know. Just think about this the next time you quote someone. Pfft... I'll continue to quote with flagrant disregard for others feelings! -_- Me too… Dummy

I'm more about dishing out likes because most people, on here, make a point I would have made before I've finished reading. Also, I'm drunk.
