Does anybody remember "Archie's Weird Mysteries"?

I still have to argue that, after 50+ years, Betty and Veronica really should have realized that there are better men in the world to be obsessed with.

I really do like the fact that thanks to AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE, and even that death thing a couple months back, no one really looks at Archie news with the kind of mockery it used to get. Because they CAN do good stories that are well outside those hokey/good old fashioned boundaries of yesteryear... ......and I even remember that old Archie TV movie from the late '80s/early '90s. They truly have moved beyond.....that kind of thing.

I'm actually looking forward to this. Archie has been showing lately how great it can be when it thinks outside the box, yet stays true to its creations. Afterlife With Archie and Sabrina are both great comics, and I look forward to Archie vs Predator.
Also, ever since I saw the 90's movie (which is highly underrated) I've had a love for Josie and The Pussycats. The fact they will be on this show is a a big selling point for me.
And I'd love it if Sabrina is a kid at school that has rumors around her that she's a witch, but we never really get any proof.

Josie is a fabulous movie (and Rachael Leigh Cook in that may be the sexiest sexy to ever sexy), but they marketed it so poorly. They tried to sell a counter culture movie to the culture it was skewering. And they didn't care for it, but all the punk rockers I know who broke down and gave it a shot frikken loved it.

Sounds a bit like the old Archie's weird mysteries tv show. I love that the Archie comic group is doing all kinds of stuff to expand their brand. Afterlife with Archie is amazing. And the new Sabrina series looks great.

The Josie film was great. Just avoid the cut version on dvd that was made just for Walmart.
