I like the idea. He can really help a lot of those guys out. Hopefully the same applies to those on the main card as well. They really need some megastars.

NXT Wrestler's Court didn't have a presiding judge. Taker feels he's doing them a service.

He could teach Baron Corbin a lot. That's the first guy I thought of when deciding who could benefit a ton from Undertaker's tutelage.

Good on them! Undertaker would be great in NXT. And, perhaps gets some ring training himself. He's front and centre on those WrestleMania trucks for something! Even when active full-time he wasn't that prominent. Anyway, I've always wondered why they have the likes of Bill DeMott who wasn't over anywhere without a euphemism for a name (and even then...) and not known as being a particularly good wrestler, over someone who had a better career than him. Is it his teaching style/intimidation towards trainees that WWE likes? Edit: Allegedly. We don't want the lawyers coming after FAN!

Is it his teaching style/intimidation towards trainees that WWE likes? You'd have to assume so. I like to imagine that if DeMott didn't have the trainer job he'd be the veteran guy on indie shows who refuses to put the local guy over because he was the first guy Goldberg ever beat, who the f*** is this kid? Which is actually kind of awesome because I love that there are still guys like that around, but may not be the best guy to put in charge of creating the superstars of tomorrow.

We're losing the crowd. What can we do to wake 'em back up before the end of the show?
Joey! Run to hot topic for a trenchcoat, hoodie, and some eyeliner! Hurry!

The best players from any sport don't always make the best trainers, coaches or managers, in fact many of the best in those positions are guys and girls that had mediocre playing careers or in a few cases never played at all. That said Bill is a weird case given some of the stories that come out about him.

Its a good gig form him at this stage; lets him stay connected to the biz, and if there is anyone the youngsters could learn a great deal from!

Nothing makes me mark more than hearing the gongs. But, I really wish that man would go enjoy retirement. He's given much more than he'll ever receive. If he's willing to help out or even better take on an official job then they are all the better for it. There is nobody better for a role like that. The talent of NXT will be so excited to have him backstage. Taker's pretty protective of his time at home these days so I'd imagine that any role he'd accept would be limited and involve very minimal travel which apparently is what this is. Also I have read that Taker's son attends Full Sail U in an art/tech program where NXT is taped so it seems like travelling there once in a while is something that works for him.

No one wants to see 'Taker enjoy a long retirement more than me, but it's hard to say what his position, or the hours will be. Maybe he shows up once a month and just does a few in-ring pointers with the "hoss" guys like Corbin and Big Cass? As far as presence goes.. you can't teach that. But, it'd be nice for someone to teach the big men how to sell like they should.
