I'm awaiting signings from the most recent camp - Uhaa Nation and Veda Scott were amongst the people trying out, and they'd both be great pickups. If they don't sign Veda then they're crazy. She's all kinds of awesome. Whilst the one mark against Veda is that she's a little older than they'd like for a prospective Diva, she is only two or three years into her career, and can be moulded.

Actually most of them probably won't. But with how little they'll get paid, it's worth it for the WWE to keep bringing in these guys with no experience, in the hopes that at least one of them will have some raw talent. It's difficult to quantify right now since NXT and Performance Center are so new. People make it and people don't. Just like any other entertainment or sports entity. Nothing new. Either way, people need to be recruited and groomed. We'll see how this group does.

Have you heard anything about the camp from almost two months ago which featured Rich Swann? I wonder if they turned down Swann like I expected. Were these male signings listed here at that camp?

*bites tongue, thinking about all the talented women they passed on for the hooters girl* *sigh* at least they signed one female wrestler. Does having worked at Hooters automatically mean someone has no talent or the ability to learn? Obviously, womens doesnt know how to wrestle unless they had lived in a van, traveled to japan, or wrestled on SHIMMER

Hmm. The whole meeting someone working at the boss's gym worked for Enzo Amore. Apparently he was working out at the gym Triple H was working at, and was really pestering about getting a tryout.
The thing with Enzo though is he's honestly a once in a lifetime personality. Doesn't mean he's a can't miss prospect in wrestling, but he certainly stands out and would no matter what he did. There aren't too many people who can get a tryout the way Enzo did, and I feel this chick that Stephanie found is going to be one of the many women who gets signed, and then there's a thread where a bunch of random people are released and no one knows who they are.
The body builder is the same way, I suspect he'll go away. Amateur wrestlers do a better job and have a better chance, but I remember WWE signed this guy, Travis Tyler, who was a great amateur standout, and they did nothing with him. They have guys like Brock Lesnar, Kurt Angle, Bobby Lashley and Dolph Ziggler to look at as guys who came into WWE with no pro wrestling experience and it was all amateur. The body builder will go no where, because while WWE does have some issues signing odd choices, NXT has the best of the best right now, if you have no previous wrestling experience, you're gonna need to stand out, like an Enzo Amore like I brought up before.

I guess that confirms Zahra will be on TV soon being the babe who shows how cool Baron Corbin is.
I cannot possibly argue it's a bad idea.

Does having worked at Hooters automatically mean someone has no talent or the ability to learn? Nope. But hiring someone with no experience, who you can no way know is talented at until after the fact vs. hiring a proven talent with experience, is a pretty head scratching hire. If I am hiring for a job, and the wage is the same regardless of experience: do I want a person that it would take less man hours to train and who I know is passionate about it? Or do I just hire some random person off the street with no experience, and no way of knowing if they really like the industry that I do business in?

Not to be catty or what have you, but some variety in the body type or look of divas would be nice. Two more very thin women with breast implants, not that there's anything wrong with that, just would like to see some variety. Maybe some thicker gals, and if you're hiring say a model or hooters girl, I wonder why they never happen to hire one who's all natural. (Well there's Lana, but almost never.) Granted there are much more important aspects to making it, but since the look is a big part (and pun intended here), I'd like to see say 1 all natural person hired out of every couple dozen. But when they're saying that Nikki Bella or Mickie James are fat (they're incredibly slim), well, I see why we keep getting 0% body fat women hired.

Anyone seen how catty Reby Sky (Matt Hardy's wife) has been about these signings?

She didn't just get hired one Saturday when Stephanie saw her at the gym, she also attended a tryout. For all we know, she could be a natural talent and have excelled. Look at Charlotte.

Anyone seen how catty Reby Sky (Matt Hardy's wife) has been about these signings? Yeah, Jimmy Jacobs was understandably pissed off over it.
