Well? What say you?
I've always considered Matt the more talented of the two brothers by leaps and bounds.

I do have to agree that Matt is slightly better. Jeff is a glorified spot monkey at this point and it is showing the tolls on his body

Matt's the more overall talented of the two - he's actually cut some decent promos in his life (albeit it's dependent on having the right gimmick, like the Version 1 one) and he's more able to put on a great match without needing any gimmicks or high spots or whatever - but Jeff has a certain it-factor Matt's lacking in, which is why he's been the more successful of the two.

From a pure technical perspective, Matt is better but I've always considered Jeff to be the better worker. He's always had a level of charisma that allows him to connect with fans that Matt was never ever really able to match.

Hey, remember Jeffs match with Undertaker? Or any match with Umaga? Yeah, thats why he wins.
Also, all of Matts offense looks like shit.

Matt Hardy V1 was incredible. Jeff's always been fine but a bit of a spot monkey

Jeff by a mile. Jeff presents himself like a star, and while his risk taking bumps are unnecessary today, it's essentially what got him over in the first place back in the late-90's/early-00's.
Jeff could go to the WWE tomorrow and be a main eventer. Can't say the same for Matt.

He's always had a level of charisma that allows him to connect with fans that Matt was never ever really able to match. You nailed it for me. Matt is far more technically sound than Jeff but Jeff just has the innate ability to make everything he does matter and really look much more like it is him fighting than him just doing moves.

Jeff.
Why? Because kids and women love Jeff.
Smarks love Matt.

Depends how you define talent. Matt is a better wrestler, better on the mic, has more ability to work different match styles. Jeff, however, has limitless charisma when compared to Matt. That's not really a talent, per se, but is absolutely more important.

Jeff squeaks out Matt as far as pure ability (and maybe better conditioning). Matt plays a better heel, but his weirdness aside Jeff's the superior face.

Matt Hardy has shown, over the years, to be a more complete performer. He has done well as a face and as a heel, he is better at promos, and he is more technically sound.
Jeff Hardy has a more natural charisma that draws me into his matches and stories. His ability to sell moves as if they are death, makes him an exceptional face, but a below average heel (Note: I have not followed his TNA run). His willingness to take insanely high risks also lends to this, even though Matt will do high risk stuff too (for example, Matt took his bumps in those TLC matches), just not Jeff Hardy high risk. He is forgettable on the mic and he is also prone to sloppiness in the ring.
Final verdict: Matt and Jeff were each better at different things, and that's why they were such a good tag team for many years.

Jeff is perhaps the most over wrestler that isn't in the WWE. He could show up on Raw tonight and the arena would go crazy.
Also, people need to realize that being a "spot-monkey" isn't always a bad thing.

Jeff has off of the charts charisma and if he had stayed clean, had his head screwed on straight, and remained in the WWE he could have been the one guy to give Cena a run for his money as the top guy. Matt is probably the better wrestler, but even back in their tag team days I didn't really give a damn about him.

The better wrestler technically is Matt, however Jeff is the better total package wrestler.

Matt is better at promos and portraying different heel/face characters. Jeff has the better looks and more star-quality and charisma.

Jeff's never released a fake suicide note/video to get attention, so he wins by default.
