CM Punk from his return at Payback 2013 until his disappearance following the Royal Rumble 2014, when he was clearly mailing it in, totally treading water, and looking like he just didn't give a f***? Nah, that version can stay away.
CM Punk when he was in the Straight Edge Society, or the summer of 2011? You bet I do. He was on top of his game and really was one of the best in the world during that period of time.

He hasn't been gone long enough for me to really miss him. I don't doubt he could have some fun matches/feuds were he motivated, but if he's not feeling it right now, what can ya do?

If he's motivated, I wouldn't mind seeing him back. However, it does seem like he's moved on from wrestling, so it's probably a slim chance he'll ever return.

Its not as simple as yes or no. Big-enough fan that yeah, want him back. But big enough of a fan where if hes happy being away, im happy for him.
So its more of a "Peachy either way".

This is like that SNL poll where they let the viewers decide if they should ban Andy Kaufman from the show.

The emergence of Punk and Bryan got me caring about wrestling again, since May my interest has completely plummeted.

Yes. I never lost attention to the show or changed the channel when Punk was on my screen

I miss his commentary more than his wrestling/promos.
I miss Daniel Bryan more.

Of course I do, he was one of my favorites up to the last few months of his WWE career and before. The guy gets it when it comes to telling a story while being able to put on a damn good match with almost anyone. I'm also curious how much a coincidence it is that the quality of pretty much everything declined so horribly around the time he stopped giving a shit and, most likely, had already made a decision he was done. I mean, for god sake, the guy made people stop complaining about Cena of all people for a while. While he was around it was fairly safe to say that there was at least ONE interesting story going on. That said, I'm not longing for him to come back or anything. He's doing what he wants and good on him for it, it's not his fault that the product now is absolute crap, it's creative's. We've got some amazing talent on the main roster and even more amazing talent down in NXT so, for now, I can do without him but I DO miss the guy.

Yes and no. I miss him wrestling but I know that if he comes back, it's another "main eventer" that they have to try to squeeze onto the show. It's the one thing I've hated since the brand split ended.

i want to say yes, but if he didn't want to be there, then i don't want to see him This. From a selfish perspective, I enjoy watching him as a performer but if he doesn't want to be there, he shouldn't be there.

Actually, when it was shortly AFTER he left, sure I did.
Now though? It's set in and there's new favorites to get behind so his stock isnt all that high anymore with me, there's still guys I enjoy and some of them are better now than he was when he left so I dont mind him gone.

I miss motivated Punk. Everything from the moment he lost the WWE title to the Rock? Not so much

It's weird. At the top of his game, I miss him. But thinking back on alot of his run(some of it not his fault), alot of it was just waiting for him to be great again. I didn't like the Lesnar build or the Undertaker build or the HHH build overall. He has moments, but alot of it would teeter between Smark Bait and actual entertainment.

Not really. I miss Daniel Bryan way more. Honestly I don't feel strongly one way or the other for Punk.
