A fan was hit by a broken bat at Fenway tonight and it's now been reported she has life threatening injuries. There was a lot of blood apparently.

The Yankees turn a laugher into a nail-biter with an 8-7 win over the Angels. Angels score 6 runs in the 9th off of right-handed Yankee bullpen suck.
If Esmil Rogers isn't fired at the end of this game, then something is clearly wrong.

@espnstatsinfo Chi Chi Gonzalez is the first Rangers pitcher to throw a shutout within his first two MLB games since Len Barker in 1976 Watched that game! He was incredible! He really was the only guy who came to play the entire night. Alberto and DeShields had flashes at times, but wow!! This team is full of rookies now. Chi Chi, Alberto, DeShields, (temporarily) Gallo, Kela, and Corporan had some playing time this week... I guess it's kind of good, because last year was horrendous to watch. I am a big fan of Joey Gallo's. I've met him several times and gotten his autograph, picture made with him, and all around a great guy. Really rooting for him to succeed! He had a rare 4-amazing pitchers to face in his first week at the major leagues.. Samardizja, Sale, Rodon, Volquez.. That's tough! Moved from AA to MLB too, and has never been able to limit his strikeouts, and it seems as if the final 3 guys figured him out, to pitch inside high, so Gallo must counteract that. Really hoping Gallo can get a few homers in before Beltre's due back. I believe Gallo will be demoted to AAA (which is really a bump up from AA) and let him work on this stuff. It's a whole new ballgame it seems, but so thrilled he's able to see the majors and go back down, knowing what to work on and what he has to look forward to. Bright future in Texas!

So they traded for a low OBPS guy who does better against LHP? Like... the REST of their Lineup?

The White Sox help extend the Tigers' losing streak to 8 with a 4-3 victory in 11. Adam LaRoche hits a HR with 2 out in the 9th (off frickin' Soria!) to knot the game at 3 and send it to extra frames. Avisail Garcia takes a HBP with the bases loaded for a rare legit "walk off win".
Ken Harrelson is expected to return Sunday. Good, because Chuck Swirsky and Steve Stone are not two guys you can just listen to, you have to actually be watching the game to follow the action. While they do have a good chemistry in talking about stuff, they don't have excitement in their veins to call an exciting moment. (You wanna kick Chuck and tell him, "Call it like a backbreaking three pointer, you snoozer!")

Rangers just escaped Kansas City with a 4-2 victory, hoping for a sweep of the series tomorrow. I saw some improvement from yesterday to today in Gallo... DeShields wasn't on his game today, and we still won... Moreland's playing well, so that's a plus.
I love Dyson, but been fearful of him this series, and it showed today. He only subbed in as an outfielder last game, but today he got on base and ran around the bases, as expected, and even scored a run. Definitely someone to watch for tomorrow.
#TEXASRANGERS Go get 'em tomorrow!

Poor Jaime Garcia. Dude can't get any run support in any of his pitchers duels.

Speaking of prospects and the future of baseball, the 2015 MLB Draft is tonight. The pre-show starts at 6 and the Draft kicks off at 7.
That being said, multiple outlets are calling this year's draft class one of the weakest in recent memory, so don't expect your team to draft its next cornerstone franchise player this evening.
