And yet they lead the division, although for how long is anyone's guess.

The cure to the Giants woes so far this season.
1: Get the hell out of AT&T Park. 2: Play the Dodgers.

Need a distraction from a hacking scandal and two lackluster showings from the offense? Call in the squirrel! Cards 22-5 over the first 2 games vs the Phillies.
Scherzer is a shoo in for Cy Young if he keeps up even half this pace. He's a beast.

Orioles take a 7-0 lead on the Jays in the second.
Jays lead 9-7 in the fifth.

Orioles take a 7-0 lead on the Jays in the second. Jays lead 9-7 in the fifth. It's stuff like this that makes our pitching so frustrating. If our pitching was good, we might have a stranglehold on the AL East.

If our pitching was good, we might have a stranglehold on the AL East. We are 1-6 against the Rays. If we can hang on here, it'd be great, but it'll be meaningless if we go down to Tampa tomorrow and drop three.

And naturally, the Jays' 'pen blows it again.
The division is right there for the taking. Go get a starter and go get a closer. No excuses.

So can somebody from the Mets get fired tonight? 1st and 2nd nobody out. 2 hits all game. BUNT THE DAMN BALL to eliminate the DP and score on contact. Nobody is above laying down a sacrifice bunt in this f***ing pathetic lineup

I know in theory it sounds stupid, but in practice, we don't really have a best hitter. Two hits all game. Got no hit last week. Nobody on a hot streak. We need to manufacture runs any way possible even if that means small ball. Get Harvey off the hook. It was the 9th inning. Earlier in the game, your 100 percent correct. But with the game on the line, and no offensive punch. Let's get runners in scoring position.
