Wait... so, Sarah knows about John Connor here, probably knows Kyle Reese is the dad. Is there going to be some sort of awkward, "We need to bang... for humanity." scene? No, I don't think they'll get a chance to rock the casbah for future of the human race. {Spoiler}They travel to 2017

As with the Robocop reboot, not for me thanks. Feel free to let me know if it's as bland as it looks when it comes out.

So....John Connor sends Kyle Reese back to 2014 (I think) to protect his mother who is younger than she was in 1984 when Kyle originally met her and conceived John, and she has a Arnold-Terminator with her for some reason, and he appears to be an old man, and a T-1000 is also there, and they are still trying to stop Judgement Day which was supposed to happen in 1997, but it happened anyway in around 2007 or something, because Judgement Day is inevitable, so what's the point in trying to stop it?
My head hurts.

My head hurts. No, John sends Reese to 1984 like in the original. Older Arnold.. {Spoiler}Saves Sarah as as child when her parents are killed by another Terminator. T3 said JD is inevitable, don't listen to T3. Sarah is human and wants to stop humanity from dying.

So with all of this time travelling going on, when does the time stream just die?

So with all of this time travelling going on, when does the time stream just die? Well, it's an alternate timeline. Once Reese is sent back, everything is new.

Dear god. What did I just watch? I love Terminator, but they just keep f@@@ing it up with each successive film. They need to let this go. We still have our memories......

Sweet, I get more Emilia Clarke.
... everything else in this movie disappoints me.

The only way I believe this movie can redeem itself is if Emilia Clarke says the line, "WHERE IS MY TERMINATOR?!"

Yes sir, it's The new Terminator movie vs. the new Fantastic Four movie in a steel cage crap-fest smack down of who will piss off the most fans!

I actually didn't mind 3, and I was hoping it would set up for the actual war in the future. Instead, we got number 4 which featured Sam Worthington being his usual as exciting as watching paint dry self and now this shitfest. Goddammit, is it so hard to do a futuristic war between robots and humans?

I'm scared to say it but.... I kinda like this. Sort of a reboot in line with Star Trek but with less lense flare

I'll give it a shot, but Emilia Clarke can't act, Jason Clarke is one of the blandest actors I've seen, and Jai Courtney inspires apathy.
