I mean in a more modern era (maybe 1997-present), and when shows weren't at their peak (for example, Heat after the debut of Smackdown). What are some examples of main event stars wrestling on these shows? I know Triple H faced Maven on a random Heat in 2003.
Didn't Randy Orton appear on Superstars in a squash? Did Hogan ever appear in NWO attire on Saturday Night?

I remember seeing the outlaws having a match on shotgun Saturday night which surprised me, can't remember if the tag titles were involved...

I remember Benoit was on Velocity once in like 2006 or so.

Didn't Kurt have a match against Essa Rios for the title on Heat, or did I just imagine it?

Didn't Kurt have a match against Essa Rios for the title on Heat, or did I just imagine it? He did. They set it up in a backstage promo on Smackdown I believe. Not sure if it was the same episode of Heat, but there was one where Kurt Angle was wrestling a match so Triple H and Steph showed up backstage.

I think Superstars was still seen as a big deal when Randy Orton wrestled Primo. That first episode of Superstars was loaded: Undertaker vs. Matt Hardy (who was closer to the top of the card than the bottom); Shane McMahon vs. Cody Rhodes; and Finlay vs. Christian in an ECW Title #1 Contender's Match.
Ric Flair wrestled Val Venis on an episode of Heat in 2004-5. Benoit and Jericho would appear a few times on Heat if they weren't in wrestling segments on Raw.

HHH fought on Heat as champ I believe in 2000 or so. Also JBL as WWE champ was on Velocity against Shannon Moore.

What were those 2 WWF shows that came on back to back on Sunday afternoon (or it might have been Saturday)? I remember that the second show would literally be the exact same thing as the first show but with the matches in reverse order, so you would see the last match twice in a row essentially.

Orton faced Primo on Superstars in 2009, which happened a few months after their big star studded debut shows.

The best match I saw on Velocity was Kurt Angle vs Hardcore Holly in like 2004/2005.

Hogan's only wrestling appearance on Worldwide was him and Savage against the Bruise Brothers in 1995. Hogan also had three matches on Superstars, a title defense against Bob Orton in 1987, a match against Boris Zukhov in 88, and against Dino Bravo in 1990 a few weeks before WM6 (after hogan beat bravo, quake attacked him and gave him the sitdown splash before warrior saved him).

Triple H did a few Heats, since I recall him wrestling Perry Saturn on one for some reason.

I remember Savage wrestling Ultimo Dragon on Worldwide. I never knew about that match. It was a squash, but Dragon got some offense. Nash or Hogan would've beat him in 30 seconds. It does seem weird to use Dragon as a jobber while Mike Enos is hanging around

Jericho wrestled Goldust in.......gosh, 2008 or so, on Superstars. I recall him saying it was an excellent match and one of his favorites in a long time.

I seem to remember Benoit, Regal and RVD all featuring on Velocity a fair bit around 2005/2006.
