June 30, 2001 - Low-Ki vs. Xavier in a Ladder Match
This was one of my first indie shows and this match is still one of the most unbelievable matches I've seen live in my life. Looking back at it now, I'm amazed at the risks these two took for an indie show that's basically unknown to 99% of wrestling fans. Seriously check this match out on YouTube; it's phenomenal.
This show also introduced me to Red, Homicide, Prince Nana, the S.A.T., and Trent Acid. So while no future Hall of Famers were on the show or anything, definitely got to see a few guys who were about to become well known in the indie scene.

I grew up in the Chicago suburbs. I saw CM Punk debut at an LWF show.

Damien Sandow. Saw him a couple times as Aaron Stevens when the World Wrestling Alliance(later World Wrestling Stars) was in Rockland.

Michael Tarver worked a couple of shows for NWA Tri State. He was green, but had a certain physical presence that made me think he could go somewhere.

In an APW show back in summer 2002, I saw a show with Spanky, American Dragon, and Samoa Joe. American Dragon I didn't really pay attention to since there was NO! major thing that interested me at the moment. Joe turned on the top face of the company during a rumble and was later in the main event against Spanky(while the betrayed face helped him.).
I remember Joe let us know how we were a backwater town(luckily I wasn't from the town that the show was held at). XD
