I think its a safe bet to say that everybody on this board at one point or another wanted to be a professional wrestler. Looking at the current crop of superstars, Roman Reigns is 29, Seth and Dean are 28, Bray is only a month older than me (27). Makes me stop and think, dang, that could be me out there right now! Anybody else get this feeling?

I actually wanted to book, write, and/or manage.
And the future is younger than me......... bloody hell...

No, because no f$@&! way am I going to the gym that much. That is true. My thoughts are usually, "Dang if I would've stayed skinny after high school and hit the gym..."

Sure, if I had, like, talent or anything. I did want to be a wrestler at a time, but knew I'd be miserable traveling so much, and just didn't think it'd be the life for me.

But alas,i grew up on Brazil, and we had ZERO wrestling related stuff as i grew up.

I've NEVER wanted to be a wrestler. My God, what a nightmare. I've always wanted to be in the business as maybe a writer/manager/commentator. If they offered me a wrestling contract tomorrow I'd be sad at turning down the money but I'd hate it.

If I could have one job, in WWE, it'd be Lawler's. One day a week, one Sunday a month, and they clearly don't care if you half ass it.
It'd be fitting too. We both make our homes in Memphis, we're both creepy, and neither are as funny as we think we are.

In a "pipe dream" sort of way, I did, but as a woman I wouldn't want to put myself through that and be in that environment. I was a bit traumatised by the Trish-barking-like-a-dog incident as a young teenager.

It doesn't make me feel like "damn that could be me" but it does make me feel like I should be doing exactly what I want to do in life like them rather than where I'm at right now.

I would have liked to try being a professional wrestler. I was pretty passionate about it. There was just something that got in the way, but damned if I remember what it was.
[snaps finger]
Oh, I remember what it was! I have muscular dystrophy and could never even achieve Christian's physique.

Paige is a year older than me, so I've got time! I mean shit, even Jojo's older than me! Mind you, after watching that vid of the performance centre, I'd need to work on my Cardio a bunch, then work on getting rid of my "kinda gawky former fat guy" physique.

My dreams of being a wrestler are long gone. Mostly because I don't want to get into any racket where the end goal is working for the McMahons.

My cousin and I could've been the premier athletic fat man tag team in the biz by now. Alas, life happened.

It's scary to think that some on the roster were born in the 1990s. It makes me feel so old.

I'm trained but even the social ridiculousness of a small British indy was enough to put me off wrestling.

I would love to travel the world, do a job that challenges my creativity, and to say I don't work a real job but the backstage politics, injuries, the grind, independent contractor bullshit, the yo yo pushes preventing you from getting a big promotion on the spot and pay, the crazy fans, the crazier schedule, and all the media appearances, etc just sounds like hell.
