I tend to make fun of people who over react to the death of a celebrity. I'll see how I do when Wayne Gretzky dies.....until then, I continue to mock.

Wow, surprised at how much support Vince has had in this thread.
Definitely Betty White, Petula Clark, and also Cloris Leachman.

Wow, surprised at how much support Vince has had in this thread. In a historical context, he is pretty much the main reason why this site and forum even exist.

Paul and Ringo, Vince McMahon, Betty White, Bill Cosby, and the Hulkster will all get tears from me when the time comes. Even if I somehow stop watching wrestling between now and Vince or Hogan's passing, it'l get me.

Ooh wait, another one- Elton John. The day you hear the networks announce Elton's passing, don't even look for me, I am DONE for the day. I'll second Betty White too.

Was going to say this. The guy is practically immortal to me by this point. The unrealistic part of me wants him to outlive all of us.

Was going to say this. The guy is practically immortal to me by this point. The unrealistic part of me wants him to outlive all of us. Though if there is an afterlife, he's going to go hang out with Peter Cushing and Vincent Price, so that's a sweet deal.

Someone mentioned Bobby Heenan. That one would hit me hard.
Jerry Lee Lewis. His music has ALWAYS been around in my life, I've continued to discover more and more of it, and considering he just released another album and I saw him in concert again shortly after he turned 79, he's showing no sign of stopping. There are elements of his life story that I, in my own ways, relate to. Add in the decades of excellent music, fantastic rock n roll showmanship, and the fact that he's kept going through a ton of personal tragedy (some of which was his own doing), the guy holds a mythical place for me.
Plus, just the fact that he really is the "last man standing" from those Sun Records legends. When he's gone...that's it.

The day Paul Stanley goes I don't know if I'll even be able to function. He's been my musical idol since I was 5 years old, so that one is going to hit HARD. I'll probably be inconsolable the day we lose Paul, Gene, Ace, or Peter.
