I've recently watched The Sopranos for the first time.
I. Hate. Meadow. Soprano. So. Much.
I WANT HER DEAD.
How about you? Which TV/Movie characters do you hate irrationally?

Never before has a character death been so satisfying.

Joffrey wouldn't really be an irrational hate. You were supposed to hate that little son of a bitch.

Lily on Grounded For Life
I don't seethe with anger, but she damn near ruins an episode for me-what a complete BITCH!!!
To make matters worse, she eventually dates this dumbass, Brad for no good reason and he is as stupid as she is a bitch-with the exception of Kelly Bundy, I just about hate any REALLY dumb characters. Disney channel is filled with them as well.

Abby Lockhart on 'ER'. I'm usually a fan of Maura Teirney, but her character here spent 85% of her screentime being mopey and disfunctional

Smavilles Jonathan Kent. The man is a hypocrite and is happy to keep clark on his farm until god knows when. Relies on Clark to do all the heavy lifting chores while is against Clark having any life of his own away from the farm. Cost almost the entire town their jobs after making a bargain and breaking it with Lionel Luthor (i think?). Doesnt like Martha getting a job. Pretty horrible towards Lex Luthor a whole lot during the early years even though Lex was genuine in his attempts to help with his problems....I could go on and on. I despise the guy!

Michael Meyers, who I am convinced is the worst film character ever.
-No story -No character development -No weaknesses -Lame powers -Terrible appearance -Always wins
He's like something brainstormed by a 10 year old and somebody made a bunch of movies about it.

Not sure how irrational these are but...
Ugly Betty - Her entire family were horrific stereotypes, especially her sister and oh god....her nephew.
Ezri Dax - Why the bollocks did Deep Space Nine need a scatterbrain bimbo stealing screentime when their war arc was concluding?
Vince Vaughn and Julianne Moore's characters in "The Lost World" - These two idiots managed to get practically everybody killed
Every character on Ally McBeal - What is with David E Kelley? Why do all his shows have to involve singing and weird fantasy shit? What an awful writer.
Matthew McConaughey's character in "Contact" - Smug, idiotic, and all his arguments are paper thin and piss poor.
Jodie Foster's character in "Panic Room" - She escalates the situation for no reason at all. Had she simply allowed the criminals to steal the shit they wanted, the movie could have been over in 10 minutes.
Queen Amidala in the Star Wars prequels - Utterly hypocritical. Anakin confesses murder to her in the second film, and she marries him. He confesses a second round of murders in the third film, and she's shocked and rejects him. Makes no sense at all.
Demi Moore's character in "A Few Good Men" - There are two scenes that bother me. When she "strenuously objects" to the judge's ruling, thus damaging their case. She does it for no reason. Then when Kevin Pollack's character correctly says that he hates their clients for killing a weaker Marine, she responds with jingoistic bullshit that sounds no different to the final speech Jack Nicholson's character gives.

Cait Sith (FFVII): His character just makes absoloutely no sense. Easily the worst FF character of all time, in my opinion.
Hope (FFXIII): I should've felt bad for him that his mum died, but then he goes and blames Snow for it like a dumbass, which made him completely unlikeable.
Claptrap and Tiny Tina (Borderlands): Two of the most annoying video game characters in history. Grating voices and childish humour. I lost faith in humanity when I find out quite a lot of people like these characters.
Ibuki (SF): Overpowered ninja slut.
All I can think of for now.
By the way, it takes a lot for me to find a char annoying, so... congrats to this lot. xD

Buggin Out and Radio Raheem in "Do The Right Thing", who IMO caused all the conflict in that film for no good reason at all.

Gaz from Invader Zim. Holy GOD, what an annoying and mean spirited little brat. It was a funny show in general, but how did the producers not take a look at her and just recoil in disgust?
I also liked Eureka Seven, but Holland's jerkiness could be grating at times.
also Kitty is awesome.

BTW, I find it a little unsettling how so many of these characters listed so far are women. They can't all be that badly written.
