It's not a glorified indie. They have international TV exposure and still get around a million viewers during a wrestling fandom drought. Barely, I was talking about their move to Destination America, they're gonna get less viewers than roh Do you have the numbers for this?

If anything I'd be down for more of a wrestling-centric sub board breakdown.
WWE TNA Indies (I wouldn't seperate Japan & US at this point as there's a lot of cross over). Pre Attitude Era Wrestling (including WWE, WCW, etc)

I think a merger with WOW is better than it taking up it's own board, especially with it moving to the same channel tier that Lucha Underground is and less people will be able to actively follow it now.
If anything, an ROH/Lucha Underground/TNA board would work. The 3 televised indies would be a large enough board.

I dunno. I guess that'd be up to the mods, but I think it'd definitely be a thing they'd let sit for a few months at least to deal with the aftermath, post-mortem speculation.

I think the best way to go would be
WWE WWE Network American Indies (including TNA) International Wrestling & Combat Sports Classics

No, having a separate forum for TNA is good for this board. It helps increase traffic and keeps up activity. The mods have discussed what would happen if TNA was to close its doors. It is not something we're looking forward to at all because we'd need something to replace it. Maybe a big indy, maybe a puroresu company, but it's not good for us either way. What part of THIS statement are some of you NOT understanding? Stop acting like there are plans for anything otherwise because you failed to comprehend what was stated ABOVE.

My proposal would be to combine the indys into the TNA section, and throw in NXT as well. Wrest can sustain itself on just being about older wrestling, and you'd need to change the name. Also, the WWE Current section's timeframe moves to 2002-present. That way, the Attitude Era topics could also go in the Wrest section to drive traffic there.
So, WWE Current (2002-present) WWE Network TNA, NXT, ROH, PWG, CHIKARA, etc. Wrest of Wrestling (pre 2002)

Do you have the numbers for this? lol you got me there, I was just talking about how Sinclair Broadcasting Group reaches more homes than destination America, who knows maybe da has better ratings . ROH was barely reaching 290000 viewers/week, including reruns, in mid-2013 (check the Sinclair investors report published this past summer). Lucha Underground barely has 200000 total weekly viewers over two different networks. I think it's more than premature calling for TNA's head when they'd need to lose 60 to 70% of their current audience to drop below ROH/LU levels. And that's without taking into account possible reruns & secondary shows on Destination America.

cant we just have a ring of honour sub forum? Would be less discussion than the TNA one. PWG and ROH and LU usually just get 1 thread when a show is going on. At the most ROH has like 3 threads-the DVD thread, a news thread and a thread about an upcoming show or a show in progress. A board by themselves would be pretty much empty. TNA, Lucha Underground, ROH, PWG, NJPW, etc seem like the best choice as a forum. The LOLTNA type threads can just be deleted by the mods so they don't clutter up the forum. Just make it so it needs to be a real discussion. Humorous or not but uncreative "LET'S LAUGH AT TNA!" shouldn't be allowed to clutter that forum.

Considering the reports that they draw 180k in San Antonio alone that number seems low. Anyway, TNA loses 50% of their audience just by moving to Destination America, that means they need everyone in that 50% that gets DA to subscribe to it (usually on one of the higher tiers), now about it and be willing to watch it. I guess what I am trying to say is simply, losing that 60% to 70% is not near as far fetched or out of the realm of possibility.
