I want American wrestling fans to take a minute to realize something.
This is who WWE thinks is in your target demographic. Larry The Cable Guy who WWE thinks appeals to you and your tastes.
Think about that.

He's got a Christmas movie with Santino coming out the week after so it makes sense. I'd expect a few segments with those two, probably Santino teaching Larry the Cobra, who then hits Miz with it. Also, I know he's hated but I think he'll be fine. He seems like the kinda guy that not only is in on it all but wants to be a part of it. Breathe, people! We've been through a LOT worse

Yeah, this is a real shout-out to 2002, isn't it? We're really starting to hit that "out-of-touch" era that WWE is famous for every now and then, aren't we? Larry's starring in Jingle All The Way 2, which also stars Santino, so it's not as out of touch as you'd think. That sounds exactly as out of touch as I'd think.

Think about that. Oh please. This is obviously all part of their continuous attempt to gain the old school WCW audience.

The whole guest host thing is WAY overblown these days. It's a small segment or two (at best) with midcard guys or Divas, and nothing more. The way some carry on about them it's like it's 2009 when these guys were wrestling in main events or the whole show was themed around them, storylines be damned. As far as I'm concerned, these are a small step back in that direction. And that's bad.

Really wish people would STOP calling them "guest hosts". They're not hosting Raw, and they're not calling them hosts either.
Is the reason people hate Larry the Cable Guy because he uses some toilet humor?

Is the reason people hate Larry the Cable Guy because he uses some toilet humor? He's also a bigot. EDIT: I should clarify, outside of his jokes and stand-up, he used to pen serious political writings on his website. Many of these were beyond the pale of just "I disagree with you" and ventured into serious xenophobia. One of his most notorious rants was about a Muslim singing the national anthem at the World Series. Again, this was not played for laughs or in the "Cable Guy" character. He is, or at least was, a hateful man that profited off the hate of others. There's a reason people will, at worst, just roll their eyes at a Jeff Foxworthy or Bill Engval, but fume with vitriol over Larry the Cable Guy.

Grumpy Cat was arguably the most relevant guest host they've ever had. I have no idea who this prick even is. HUGH. JACKMAN.

Larry's going to be on Raw, isn't he? I'll take the heat on this one. Kinda like me with Chrissley.
