Haven't watched lately, does he really have a trolley crossing theme now?

I normally don't like the gimmick of "guy who only wrestle" but I think that Cesaro has the tools to make it work, his ring work is superb and gets an exciting match of everyone, they should find him challengers that make his feats impressive

I didn't even open the thread, and I knew what it was. I am either that good at Internetting, or amthat good at being disappointed in Cesaro's push.

Instead of standing with the heels he should have got on the mic and declared himself officially neutral before wandering off and leaving both sides confused. Seriously the Swiss guy always remaining neutral in other people's conflicts could an interesting character trait that could be taken in a few directions. That would be a character nuance we haven't seen in WWE for years. It would be awesome, but with the way they function creatively (if you can call it functioning) it would never work.

It would make sense to replace Kane with him.

Well, the Smackdown spoilers are going to do nothing to dissuade this argument.

Yeah, look at how they buried him tonight by having him take Ryback to the limit, and get one over on a main eventer. What a jokester! You'll enjoy Smackdown...

Maybe he could be the anti-America Swiss heel I've long talked about! They can do vignettes of him walking the streets of Zurich and asking the audience "If America is so great, how come all your businesses come here?" and proclaiming how great Switzerland is because they have free healthcare. And when he finally wins a title he can avoid losing it by using the Geneva Convention.

It would make sense to replace Kane with him. This statement applies to pretty much all of Kane's booking starting with the Daniel Bryan feud.

I don't care man, that was funny as f***. Team Authority laughing in Cena's face after that swerve was hilarious. I enjoyed the hell out of it as well. The look on all of Team Cena's faces was gold.

The funny thing is that when they do push him, he gets over, but then they change their minds and bury him again
He got over in the Real Americans, and then as the King of Swing
In both cases, they dropped the push.

When was he over as 'the king of swing'? He got that name during the run with Heyman and he definitely wasn't anything close to over in that run.

When fans are cheering for him doing the move, the gimmick is over. Being over doesn't necessarily have to mean thunderous Daniel Bryan-type ovations and responses.

He didnt even do the move though in the Heyman run. He barely got any reactions during that. People were just confused mostly. Also getting into a weird area if one move is the only reason a person is over.

Also getting into a weird area if one move is the only reason a person is over. People were confused because WWE confused them by having Heyman constantly talk about a different wrestler when he was with Cesaro. When he did the swing, they were into it. If he didn't do it, again that's down to WWE's odd belief that denying something to the fans is beneficial to the wrestler. It isn't. Sometimes the simplest things can draw attention from the fans. The Godfather was over from the moment his music hit, to the moment the opening bell rang, but that was enough.

Now I can't help but to think of Cesaro walking down a lonely road trying to hitch a ride to RAW.
