Sorry, Austin, we know you were great friends but some guy who never even met Brian is going to be doing this. At least Ambrose can't say he was working everyone but him with the Loose Cannon gimmick, like everyone else in wrestling does. Who else besides Jericho has said that? I haven't heard any of the others. If Austin was in on it, I figure it's because he knew the guy well enough to know when he was bullshitting.

Akeem deserves an induction. Somehow, Akeem gets inducted by the One Man Gang.

Jericho, JR, Bischoff, Bret, everone interviewed for Pillman's DVD.

The only ones I can think of that they could put in with an appearance would be Demolition. I mean, the longest reigning tag team champions in WWE history, and they're not in YET? An ongoing suit against the company will do that to you.

I'm surprised on the who rejected them thing no one mentioned the obvious. Bruno. Yeah he's in now, but Bruno turned them down like every year since they restarted the Hall of Fame. f*** since they let Vince Sr's chauffeur every person who has ever been employed by the wwe deserves to be inducted I'm not sure if you are serious or not but James Dudley was more than just Vince Sr's chauffeur.

I would give the WWE all of my money if they inducted Tony Schiavone and his closing line is "For myself to be given the honor of joining the WWE Hall of Fame is truly the greatest moment in the history of our sport."

f*** since they let Vince Sr's chauffeur every person who has ever been employed by the wwe deserves to be inducted In all seriousness I think the Honky Tonk Man has rejected the offer because allegedly they would want control of the name or somethig...he could be lying but who knows, he definitely deserves an induction. I think that Ted Turner deserves to be inducted on the celebrities wing because of his contributions to JCP and WCW but Vince would never agree to that. The Macho Man's induction is a touchy subject, seeing that he insisted to be inducted with his family like the Von Erich's, I would concede to having his brother, but Angelo doesn't deserve an induction. I was thinking the same with Ted Turner but feel like it would actually be the other way around. Ted would likely be the one to refuse. That would be the ultimate though right? Vince and Turner on stage at the same time?

Warrior shot them down once (the year DiBiase headlined), combination of pay, hard feelings with Vince and some other people talking bad about him. I think HTM has shot them down at least once (Arizona Mania) because the contract wasn't to his liking. Mr. T turned them down forever, upset he wasn't the first celebrity in. Backlund shot them down for years because he felt he was still active and not ready to go in. Wait, we going jokey or real? HTM confirmed in one of his shoots him turning it down. The big issue was they wanted him to sign a legends contract. Which after the contract was up they would own the rights to the HTM name and image. No idea if he was being honest or not. But if that is true I can see why a vet that still works a decent amount of indy dates would turn it down.

I want to say this started back he was working as "Axis the Demolisher". Not that long after it he changed his name. I get the feeling most of the time that I am one of the few people that grew up watching Demolition who didn't like them. They were ,to me, a watered down copy of the Road Warriors. And even as a kid I wasn't a fan of the Road Warriors.

To me, they were a copy of the Road Warriors. But they were one of the most successful, if not the most successful, copies of the Road Warriors. Plus, longest reigning Tag Team Champions in the history of the WWE. The only team that can say they came close to that now a days is Londrick. So hopefully they get something worked out, so that we can hear this at the HoF. link

Haven't WWE and Demolition settled the case, resulting in them being in WWE '12?

As years go by and the WWEs list gets slimmer on people to induct (and as the wrestlers get older and funds get less and less) pretty much any of these people will be in it.
Except Owen Hart.

Next year I say induct every wrestler except Zack Ryder. Find a suitable "disappointed Zack Ryder" face and use that as the HoF logo.

It still makes me shake my head every time I see people debate the WWE HOF with passion. See the unmentioned irony in the header image I made and the first few posts to gauge my feelings on the matter. I just kind of raised my arms in the air and said "why not" and started discussing it when it seemed like that was the way the thread was going. The Hall of Fame and it's entrants degree of deserving the "honor" is really pointless in the long run, but it is fun to argue and speculate about. In the end Savage or Rude or even Owen going in or not doesn't mean jack, but it's interesting to try to figure out why they are/aren't and speculate when they might.
