EAD TNA. Guys bleeding into each other's wounds and using cheese graters in 2014. Wrestling is supposed to be fun. In no world is it fun watching two dudes mutilate each other like that for no rhyme or reason.
I guess TNA has never heard of Hep C or any of those other diseases that can be spread by dumb shit like this. Seriously, I got legit angry at this pure garbage wrestling. Two thumbs down. Dreamer, if this is all you bring to the table nowadays, get out of the business. It'll be a better place once all the ECW goofs like you clear out of it.

I'm sure there was no risk of Hep C being spread. TNA regularly tests for such diseases via a long and involved physical examination where someone takes a glance at wrestlers and says "Eh, he'll be fine"

Are we completely sure that TNA isn't secretly booked by Ian Rotten?

I saw Dreamer at a CZW show earlier this year. During intermission and the selling of wares phase, you could not imagine a more joyless, dead-eyed, "What has my life become?" man.

I actually do like both guys, but yeah- even when you ignore the health concerns, that brand of "let's walk around aimlessly and hit each other with crap while bleeding" hardcore doesn't hold up anymore. Bad Girls Club has more vicious brawls than that.

Beyond the stupidity of the match, the ending seemed to be setting up a Bram & Magnus vs. Tommy Dreamer & Al Snow feud. Who wants to see that, in 2014?

Maybe I'm just a hardcore realist for some things, but to me Dreamer ALWAYS sucked in the ring. He is not a high flyer, he's not a mat technician-he's a guy who is tough as nails and can take abuse that would demolish others. He needed to be in a place like ECW or the deathmatch leagues in Japan because he needed those hardcore kind of matches with tables, chairs, and everything else to help cover how sucky he was between the ropes and make it look spectacular. And, at that time, it worked great. But here we are, the better part of two decades later, and fans have gotten used to seeing genuinely gifted athletes in the ring and in MMA, so those kind of matches don't have the same appeal they once did.

Al Snow looked so juiced Brian Cage asked if that was his dad. That whole match sucked Bram taking too many shots to his nards as well

I don't get Dreamer, he saved his money, hell he doesn't have to work anymore, I think that his wife is an accomplished writer, if he wanted to he could return to the wwe and get an office job, Vince liked him a lot....he doesn't need to disgrace himself, I'm afraid of all the concussions he already has. Please retire already

You're right he loves the business he's not gonna retire until it's too late...but it's been almost 20 years of getting blasted in the head multiple times he hasn't changed his style.

Dreamer at least had some legit athleticism, so he could go longer before he got blown up.

Which is what Heyman quickly recognized after the awkward male stripper gimmick thingy they were doing with him. Tommy's botchtastic style didn't cease any convincing, either.

All in all, a sad match. I just remember thinking of Paul Heyman's justification for the overnight success of ECW not simply being chairshots. ECW had legit stories. They had heart. They had ring psychology. They had Terry Funk giving younger guys a deeply discerned motivation for wielding a hot branding iron on another human being. They had Benoit, Eddie, Malenko, and Rey as well as Taz and Sandman.
What last night was a fifty-year-old schlub nut-shotting a gullible kid who thinks this is the best its going to get for the foreseeable future, seeing as though Florida has way better weather than London.
