I don't think Finn Balor has a chance next week. In his second match, this rookie is going to accept the challenge of the hottest star in WWE right now? Career suicide. FACT.

CJ Parker is still around? f*** off already. Tyson is wack as hell too. I like Tyson, but I agree oN Parker. It's been two and a half years since NXT started its current format and I still don't give a f*** about that guy.

Riley gets ripped on a lot for his ocmmentary, and rightfully so. Well, Renee Young is awful too. Her alignment changes every match and she seldom makes any good points. Most of the time she sounds like she's just trying to find something to blurt out. I think if they would tell Renee to pick a side and stick to it she'd be fine. Also Riley just flat sucks and I think he drags everyone down. Put Renee with Alberts with her leaning heel and him face (generic dude doing whatever) and I think they'd be great.

It should be a plot point that the NXT title corrupts people. It led to Rollins and Big E debuting as heels on the main roster, ironc good-guy Bo Dallas cheated to retain, Adrian Neville has deceived his close friend to keep the title, and now Sami is looking like he could turn too.
WWE pulled this off well in 96-97 Bret/HBK/Sid/Austin/Taker all being morally ambiguous in wanting/holding the belt.

He was still selling his knee and other than pulling out the ref at TF4W he hasn't really been a heel. I guess some will say talking about Sami not winning the big one is hellish but doesn't really see it to me.

Sami Zayn is too young to be so good. He reminds me of Shawn Michaels in his second run.

Honestly, the more this storyline develops, the more I believe what someone said that Zayn is the one that's gonna turn heel out of desperation to finally win the NXT title. I mean, one of these guys pretty much has to turn at this point.

It's exposing ugly parts of both guys' personality. Neville pulling the ref out of the ring when Sami had the title won at Fatal 4 Way was definitely a "gray" kind of move. Same with pinning Zayn after suffering the injury, and I'm not so sure that injury was "legit" as it were. I'm not saying he's a heel but he's definitely done things to hold onto the title that are not becoming of a role-model, good-guy babyface champ. I really, really like that, and the whole story they're telling with Zayn and Neville.

Owen style face move, especially with the limping today. I want to see Sami snap and turn heel so bad though I'm probably ignoring it all though.

To me it's similar to Floyd Mayweather knocking Victor Ortiz out after they had touched gloves and hugged after a headbutt. The fight was back on and Ortiz should've been protecting himself, but it wasn't the "good guy" thing to do. Add in that in Neville's case he did this to his friend, puts it in the dick move category to me. That said, Austin's morality and dick moves probably overlap pretty hard, so it's all in how you see it. Neville's not really shown this type of edge before, so the pressure of holding on to the belt is bringing that out. I don't want them to turn Zayn heel because he's an incredible face, and I think Neville would click much better for me as a heel.. But, I would be curious to see how good Zayn would be in the role.

To my knowledge, neither Zayn nor Neville have played a heel before at any time in their careers. I can't honestly imagine either of them heel. I see one of two outcomes happening: A. Owens costs Zayn and they go full on blood feud. B. Zayn wins the big one, and they start the slow burn towards Zayn/Owens. I think scenario A is more likely. Zayn and Owens don't need a belt to carry that feud and I'm thinking Neville/Balor would be ridiculous at Full Sail with the gold on the line.

I'm really not feeling the Becky and Sasha pairing they don't seem to fit together at all...
I like they play the film reel sound but... seriously who changed the Vaudevillains theme should be fired...
I get the original might come off as too goofy to be taken seriously.... but I can barely hear the new one.

I think Zayn could almost be Flair-like as a heel. He can out wrestle you, he can out cheat you but either way he's out with that title every night. A guy that would do whatever he needs to to make sure he is champion. I'd go so far as to build a stable around him, have Owens (doesn't have to be, just using him because of the connection and timing) as his enforcer and Team Thick running interference as well.
Neville could be a heel in that RVD "Look what I can do. I am better than you" type thing but I don't see that lasting long because of how good and flashy he is.

The closest Zayn has ever been to being heel was during his feud with Owens in ROH. When Owens took his original mask and was getting the best of him on multiple occasions, he debuted a new darker mask/look/demeanor as Generico with less Ole/comedy/having fun attitude with a more intense/brawling in ring style (but still mixed with the high flying)
It would be interesting to have him as a heel. But I just want Zayn to go over clean against Neville, get his redemption and the title, and then Owens walks out. I am sure he is more than ready for the challenge of being heel and I think I would also love him to be one, but I don't want it to be just yet. Let him have the title first and see where they go with him in relation to Owens....

I cannot imagine the NXT audience accepting Zayn going heel as a result of this story. They've already decided that Adrian is the heel, so I can't imagine them programming that aggressively against the audience here.

Man I'm loving NXT. Not the best wrestling episode but storyline was it was great.
Corbin and Bull looking like they might feud. Assention looking like they might have their tag team match for Takeover but we also have a match between Baylor and Kidd set up for next week.
I'm loving Zayn vs Neville. This is honestly becoming my favourite feud this year. I can't wait to see these guys at Takeover. Also Owens is about to debut, rarely is wrestling so exciting at this time of year, but there is some great stuff going on in NXT.
Best wrestling show on TV.
