Granted, I don't expect to EVER have abs like this guy. But still, good advice. Having tried the plank before, it is amazingly difficult to hold for any length of time.

I can never have abs like that because I refuse to eat vegetables. Horrible things, those vegetables.

Started going to the gym and exercising with some regularity almost two years ago. It's still a struggle for me to hold the plank for 60 seconds. One... freakin'... minute... *sighs*
Screw the plank. I might hate it more than anything else.

First step is killing body fat. Pretty much. You basically have to monitor everything that you eat to make sure that you expend the same amount (or more if you are trying to lose weight).

First step is killing body fat. This. I used to just figure I could thrash ab workouts and end up Jomo levels of ridiculous, but then I just ended up husky with a strong core. Of course, once I did lose the fat, abs were looking pretty damn good. And my max plank is 2:26 IIRC. Felt like I was going to pop a blood vessel in my head afterwards though!

I might hate it more than anything else. A group I used to work out with had a guy who was a mad man in the gym, and he basically ran the workouts. When we planked, the last ten seconds were a military style 10 seconds: 10... ... ... 9... And so on. Afterwords, the rest of us were groaning in pain and cursing his very existence. He never sweated a drop, and smiled the entire "minute." I hated him on core days.

Videos like this always seem so homoerotic. Stop trying to lift his shirt up!!
Nice tips. First time I did the plank I did it for over two minutes, I didn't realise people find it so hard.

I'm fairly certain I could do better with the ladies if I had that accent, moreso than those abs.

Just thinking about the plank makes my formerly broken back cringe, so no Abs by Balor for this guy.

I knew the ladies flipped for Aussie and British accents, didn't know Irish had that effect In the US, pretty much any accent that's not common will get someone's attention - I think just because its "exotic" so it stands out. I think there was a time when having a Mexican accent was considered exotic, but now its so commonplace in the US.
