It's not really that surprising considering divas rarely ever get fired in the WWE. Usually the only reasons you see them leave is if they're released because of some kind of behavioral problem, or if they leave on their own accord because they have other opportunities. Okay, gifs aside, what are you actually trying to say here? It reads as: Divas are rarely let go (besides leaving of their own accord, getting fired due to behavioral issues and having their contract run out). Which are quite a few qualifications to your statement to begin with, but even then it's still not a "rare" case that a diva is released. I'd say around HALF of the divas who made it to the main roster but are no longer employed by the WWE don't meet your qualifications. That's hardly rare.

I didn't say anything about them having their contracts run out, just behavioral issues and leaving on their own. That means I'm saying you rarely ever see divas get fired for things like budget cuts, poor performance, or the WWE not renewing their contracts. Which means it's understandable as to why Layla's been in the WWE for so long. You never hear about her having any backstage problems, and considering the fact that she doesn't seem to have any other talents besides dancing, and given her age, she likely isn't getting any better offers from outside of the WWE. If you disagree please go ahead and name a few divas in recent years that don't meet my qualifications, instead of posting a random gif in response. Aksana's pretty much the only one I can think of off the top of my head.

In the past I'd say 5 years though, it is pretty rare that a Diva gets released because of attitude probelms. Mickie, Melina and Emma's weird shoplifting firing/rehiring are the only three off the top of my head that I think were released for that reason. Hell Akskana, Tiffany and Maria have been the only regular old releases and even then that's a 4 year gap between their releases (Akskana in 2014, Tiffany and Maria in 2010). Then there's Kharma, but I'm not even sure how that whole story ended. The other Divas though? Kelly, Beth, Eve, Kaityln, Maxine, Bellas, Gail Kim, McCool and Maryse all just left when their contracts expired. Diva's wise, that's a pretty big chunk of girls just bailing out when they feel like.

I'm mad that she's not on TV much these days just as she is reaching the peak of her mature voluptuous perimenopausal body. Let her on Total Divas, or make her the GM of Smackdown. Just give us something.

Also developmental wise Ivelisse and Alicia Fox's sister were both released and didn't leave on their own accord and that was only two years ago

I do really think it's the, "People forget she's there," thing. She's had multiple lengthy disappearances and even when she is around she largely doesn't, y'know, do anything. It's basically this. The divas who never really get a spotlight (Alicia, Rosa and even Layla) tend to stick around forever. There are exceptions but that's generally the rule. It's the divas who get a big push and then get regulated back to their division and realize they'll never get much spotlight, those tend to be the ones that decide 'f*** it.' If AJ never got a big push, if she just happened to manage Primo and still married Punk in an alternate universe, we wouldn't be asking if she was leaving. But she's done a lot and they're not giving her a reason to stay much longer. So we all wonder.

She offers nothing anymore. She has to bounce three times to make it up to the middle rope and the other week, she couldn't even put a Figure Four headlock on Natalya because her knees are so messed up so she had to go for a basic body scissors.
She shouldn't be in ring and unless she's out every week managing someone, she shouldn't be in WWE at all.

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to convey with that gif. Laughter. I found what you said to be humorously incorrect. I feel that, per capita, divas are released just as often as superstars. Saying that "WWE rarely releases divas" is, to me, a laughable statement because of that.

Saying that "WWE rarely releases divas" is, to me, a laughable statement because of that. I dunno, I'd say for the main roster, it's pretty true. Most of the ones who've left the past few years - Beth Phoenix, the Bellas when they left, Kaitlyn, Eve, Maryse, Michelle McCool, whoever else - tend to leave of their own accord. The only main roster women I recall being released any time recently are Aksana, Mickie James, and Maria.
