Ron Simmons: he had a successful career but he could've achieved more if his promos were better. Simmons was a stellar promo and had an incredible career. What more could he have possibly done? I disagree man, he was ok during his WCW and ECW days, but in the WWE he wasn't very good on the mic, maybe he suffered because his first gimmicks sucked, he also never embraced the spartan or nation of domination gimmick, he was better suited as tough guy Ron Simmons. It's weird that Bradshaw ended up being one of the greatest WWE champions of all time and Ron never reached the main event scene on the wwe.

If you didn't think he "embraced" the Nation of Domination gimmick, then I don't think you actually get what the gimmick was.

He had a brilliant career, and he should've been on the upper tier of talent.

Simmons deserves as much credit for The Rock's successful transition as anybody. That's called logical storytelling and using Simmons to help make The Rock's career is a great use of older talent, which Simmons was. If you look at '97/'98, he WAS on the upper tier of talent. He was the #2 heel in the company for quite a while.

If Lesnar had the ability on the mic he would proably be up here with Hogan/Austin/Rock. Obviously hes a big star, but he would be on WWEs mount rushmore thing if he could talk.

Marcus Alexander "Buff" Bagwell. If you looked at him in 95-96, you would have thought he was the next big thing, but of course, we know how his career ended up.

Who was great in ring but was lacking something to complete the masterpiece? Lance Storm-work rate was phenomenal and he could go with anyone. But he was way short on Charisma. I wish he had a speaking voice and a better mic delivery. I loved watching him and I was so stoked when I read he was going to WCW. When debuted I marked. His first yr run(was his last yr run) was incredible. Had that company been able to scale back production cost and stay afloat, he'd have been world champion. Can you imagine Storm as champ with a mouth piece like Henan? Heyman? Storm was so bad on the mic, when he was in the Impact Players, he made Justin credible look like a polished WWE upper card talent. I will always wish I got to see hm vs Bret Hart. Did he ever wrestle Benoit on TV in WWF? 1. Charisma =/= mic skills 2. Storm's promos were perfect, because his gimmick was generally 'boring guy who wrestles like a motherf***er'. I've never seen Storm give a promo that wasn't when his character was boring, but in WCW Storm was over. His promos got heat. He even had a catchphrase.

Lance Storm was like Bret Hart, booked correctly they both had plenty of charisma, they could tell a story in the ring and get the crowd behind them or boo them like they were making out with the devil himself between holds. The problem Storm has is he came into the WWF during the catchphrase era with a whole load of talents that were closer to what the WWF wanted, so he got labeled dull rather than being used as a workhorse who could carry guys with more WWF friendly charisma to great matches.

Ted Dibiase Jr - The guy got massively over in Legacy, but WWE screwed up after the feud with DX. Ted could go in the ring, but he didn't have the most charisma. It didn't help that WWE tried to make him like his dad, when that was not who was. All he needed was more charisma and better mic skills, because he had more than enough in ring ability. Saw Ted Jr at a show back in March. He talked about how he had a major drinking issue while in the WWE. And that is one of the reasons he asked for his release.

Shelton Benjamin would have been huge if he could have talked. If only.
