Basically in the title, but what moments in a series, TV, book or movies, have made you interested in it? This comes up as I recently came across this moment from One Piece. Warning, thar be feels ahead:
In all honesty, I've had little interest in One Piece as it's one of those series where its length has put me off more than anything. But going through that scene, and reading the context behind it, actually made me invested in some of the characters to the point I'd actually be interested in checking the series out, once it's actually finished and they publish it all in those omnibus books.
Anyone else have a moment like this where something makes you want to check out a series?

In the first season of Homicide Life on the Streets, when Detective Pembleton makes a kid admit to a murder he did not commit to prove a point to his superior.
"You did it! You put him in that alley! You put the bullet in his path!" "I did, I killed him!" while sobbing uncontrollably. Signs the confession.

I've just recently gotten into Dr Who. The moment that sold me on it was in A Christmas Carol.
SARDICK: Then show me the future. Prove me wrong. DOCTOR: I am showing it to you. I'm showing it to you right now.
If you know how the rest of the scene plays out then you know why I marked out so much.
