I've never heard of AXS TV, but I guess i'm about to get pretty familiar with it.
Christ, at this point we're gonna have to turn TNA/ROH/NJPW/Lucha Underground into their own board.

Looked it up, AXSTV is formerly HDNet.

Huh, ROH's old spot. As happy as I am to see New Japan in the states, i'm a little sad that these are the only channels that'll even take a look at wrestling these days.

Upon seeing this news Tyson Kidd will no longer been seen Why do you think he was celebrating at the end of the Womens' Tag? I saw him with his phone out during the match.

If this true, will it be like an hour long show like Lucha Underground? I figured they would tape matches from their tours at places like Korakeun and air them on it with English Commentary.

More wrestling with outlets is always great news. Excellent.

Unfortunately Time Warner dropped the network years ago, so I'm probably out of luck.

This is kind of a strange development, but it's pretty logical: as cable TV expands, as channels get more and more niche, it's actually kind of creating a new territory system, for lack of a better term.
I kind of hope the Monday Night Wars era was an outlier; enough of there being just a couple national companies competing to drive one another out of business, let's have a bunch of different companies running on a bunch of different channels, each existing on their own and nurturing their audiences as best they can.
...I know, it's not a perfect comparison, but maybe this is simply the direction things are headed.

So they're going to debut by showing a match from 2 years ago? I know that series of matches is lauded but going with something that old seems odd.

13 episodes, including the 2013 G-1. So it's not going to be the up to date, weekly tv show. More like archived footage. Better than nothing.

I may get it, I'll double check that tomorrow but yeah... I'm always down for more wrestling.
