Talking about folks like...
AJ Styles Mike Tenay Abyss James Storm Chris Harris Jeremy Borash Bobby Roode (Technically not an original, but he's been there forever) All the ones I missed because I didn't feel like looking them up.
So what happens to them?

AJ probably would have been in ROH for a few years before either taking a WWE deal after his wife graduates or leaving wrestling. Mike Tenay would have stayed in Vegas, running a sports book like he does now. Abyss. Don't know. WWE really wanted him (he was penciled in to face Taker at Mania 19 I believe) but he backed out so I think he would have floated around the indies and PR. Storm and Harris would have floated around the indies in the southeast. They needed TNA's exposure and whomever had the idea to make them a team. Jeremy Borash. I think he would have either had his own shoot company or been involved with ROH. Too much love for wrestling to not be in it. Bobby Roode would have been in WWE and probably a part of the current lost generation. They had him on their radar from the early 00-10 and tried to sign him a lot.

Bet Abyss will regret not working for WWE when his burger cash runs out

With some of them- I'd assume Abyss would have made it to WWE if there was no TNA- if they wanted him and could get him, he'd either make it immediately or make it as a favor to the bookers in PR. The most interesting possibility would be Borash- with his dual citizenship now and how he's been willing to think TNA should switch his base of operations- that "too much love for wrestling not to be in it" would, in all likeliness, vest itself in a huge UK-based promotion, likely to become THE promotion throughout Europe.

Yeah, Tommy Dreamer was on I think it was Austin's podcast and talked about it. WWE wanted to do him vs. Taker but late in the deal Abyss told Dreamer (who was involved heavily with talent relations at the time) he was backing out. I think the clip is floating around on YouTube, I'll look for it when I get to my actual computer later today..

Abyss was suppose to sign with WWE in what, 05 I believe but backed out after realizing he was going to be in front of thousands of people on a daily basis. That was when he was the best big man in Wrestling.
What the heck are you doing in Wrestling if you have stage fright?

It'd be cool because I'd really love to see there be a real THE promotion throughout Europe. There are some big company's in Europe like PCW, ICW, WXW, etc., but non you can really look at and say, "Now, that's THE company in Europe." The way you can about the WWE in North America and NJPW in Asia.

I could see Christopher Daniels ending up a road agent or trainer in WWE possibly.

That was when he was the best big man in Wrestling. What the heck are you doing in Wrestling if you have stage fright? I can kind of see where he would have cracked under the pressure. In TNA he already knew his place and he was one of the biggest fish, even if the pond was so much smaller. Jumping to WWE would have meant being in a whole new environment with that many more people you have to work with at every level, and when you throw in the idea of the biggest show of them all versus one of the biggest names EVER, it really does sound like a huge decision with an awful lot of anxiety attached to it. And he just cracked. That said, given the shape he is in now and the shape TNA is in, it is beyond question that he would have been far better off making that jump to WWE, even if his career there had not lasted all that long.
