I don't get it. At all. It's kind of a small horse, I mean what am I missing? Am I crazy?

We've all got our favorites every holiday season. I thought it'd be fun to have a thread where we post and discuss 'em.
I'll start off by naming my favorite underrated one: The Holiday. Yeah, it's a romantic comedy, but it's pretty fun. Bonus points for being my favorite performance from Jack Black. (He turns down the wacky from his usual 10 to a quirky 5)

A Christmas Story. Yes I was rocking the fandom before the hype, before the merchandise, and before the 24 hour marathons. And I still do.
Gremlins counts, doesn't it?

I try to watch Bad Santa and Home Alone every year. Love National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation but haven't seen it in a while.

Besides the ones mentioned and actual "Christmas Movies"... Trading Places, A Princess Bride and Die Hard 1 & 2 come to mind.

The Muppet Christmas Carol and Home Alone are the two films most closely associated with Christmas for me.
Batman Returns and Lethal Weapon aren't far behind though.

I usually go with A Christmas Story, Die Hard, Jingle All The Way, Rise Of The Guardians, Friday After Next, Nightmare Before Christmas and Home Alone 2. I also saw The Best Man Holiday recently, it wasn't that bad but I doubt I'll make it a standard.

Maybe also, why Jingle All the Way?

It's four hours now...would the WPIX Yule Log count?
Not a movie, but MUPPET FAMILY CHRISTMAS. Come on, Disney, Wonder Years, WKRP, and Batman are now on DVD almost completely intact, why not this?!!!?

I suspect most will either disagree, or more likely haven't seen it, but Deck the Halls is frickin' hilarious in my book!
