The vignette that the WWE showed yesterday was awesome, it really sold me on the gimmick of the vaudevillians.
It helped to make them look like big jerks

I had no idea that they battled bears during training. That is a level of commitment to excellence that is unmatched.

It was rather spiffing.
It felt so fresh, even without The Vaudevillian trappings I can't remember the last time a heel produced a vignette to mock an opponent like that. Actually when was the last time? (I bet it was really recent now I've said that)

Best gimmick ever.
These guys would be stars in like a Chikara or DDT or something but I just don't see them hitting the main E roster with their schtick intact. Even if they did, the glass ceiling for comedy acts is considerably lower for that of a more traditional type of character.

Problem isn't the ceiling, it's that there's only room for one or two such acts. Mizdow is one of the most over guys on the roster with his comedy work, and to me his ceiling is much higher with this gimmick than SRS Sandow could ever be.

At least comedy acts in the lower card are more likely to get regular TV time than serious credible wrestlers in the lower card.

So they are finally being villains after about four months of being faces?

Enjoy them now.
Imagine the commentary on Raw when they make the jump. I mean, Christ, just imagine it.

That was great stuff and actually gave me hope they could make it on the main roster. They don't need to use this all the time but that can sell a feud far better than beating up midgets in this day and age. Play more to their Vaudeville roots than just being 2 guys who are in black and white for their entrance.

At least not unless it was a short, losing feud with the guys from whom they blatantly ripped the characters.
